Abstract: A gaming table includes input sensors which are configured to receive multiple inputs from a player. The sensors are linked to a gaming table controller and are configured to receive different types of inputs from players at different times. One input may comprise a wager input in the form of one or more chips which are associated with the sensor. Another input may comprise a game play input, such as a spin input for a bonus game, received by a player placing their hand proximate to the sensor.
Abstract: In a method of presenting a game, a player places an ante wager, a secondary wager and one or more optional bonus or side bets via an input receiving device of a gaming table. Three cards are dealt to the player and a dealer, and thereafter two pairs of community cards are dealt. The player must place a tertiary wager to continue the game. The player and dealer attempt to form a highest ranking five card flush hand from their three cards and the community cards. The outcome of the player's ante, secondary and tertiary wagers are determined with reference to at least one of the dealer's hand and the player's hand. The optional bonus or side bets may be resolved relative to certain criteria for cards dealt in the game. Awards for winning wagers or bets may be awarded in accordance with a pay table or via a wheel spin or other award selection event which is initiated by the player.

Abstract: An additional optional, side bet area is included on the standard casino craps table for additional betting during the regular play of craps. Players bet that every dice roll combination of 2 or more designated point numbers, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, will be rolled on the dice before a 7 is rolled. Bets are placed in accordance with casino regulations before the come out roll. During the come out roll if a 7 rolls, all side bets are lost; if a 2, 3, 11, or 12, the bet is a push and can be removed or changed; if a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, the bet stays until a 7 is rolled to end the round and cannot be removed or changed. If every dice roll combination of 2 or more of the designated point numbers has been rolled when the round ends, bets are paid according to a side bet payout table. If they are not rolled, the bet loses.
Abstract: Wager-based video slot reel games are disclosed where additional prizes or other gains can be awarded after completion of an initial gaming action based upon application of a multi-symbol transformation (MST) tool along a MST target line extending through a gaming action outcome display area. In one embodiment, the MST tool is a virtual razor blade capable of slicing open razor-susceptible initial symbols found along the MST target line where the cutting open action can unleash additional prizes, juices or entertaining effects hidden within the razor-susceptible initial symbols. The availability of the MST tool at the end of a current gaming action or for a next gaming action is signaled to the player in one embodiment to thereby heighten the expectations of the player of winning the additional prizes or other gains due to the multi-symbol transformation action of the available MST tool.

Each of the successive wheels of chance is different from the others such that a variety of reward possibilities is provided. For one embodiment, a bonus awarding segment of the first wheel has a highest probability of occurrence and a lowest initial payout value.
Abstract: A display control system for a gaming machine is described. The display control system allows a gaming machine controller to directly control attributes of one or more video displays coupled to a gaming machine. Display attributes can be adjusted to account for different machine states which can occur when the gaming machine is operating in an attract mode, game play mode and tilt mode. A few examples of display attributes which can be controlled include but are not limited to power on or off, input source selection, contrast control, brightness control and color temp control.
Abstract: Wager-based video slot reel games are disclosed where prizes can be awarded based upon by-chance insertion of bonus wild symbols. In particular, a series of free spin games are provided. In each spin of the series of free spin games, a number of bonus wild symbols can be awarded by chance. The by-chance awarded wild symbols can be randomly distributed in a game outcome array. If and after the wild symbols are awarded, the number of next by-chance insertable wild symbols is increased and that increase is signaled to the player to thereby heighten the expectations of the player of winning even more bonus wild symbols by-chance in a next of the series of free spin games.
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention generally relate to operating a gaming machine to generate a wager-based video slot game. In a particular embodiment, a plurality of video slot reel games can be generated simultaneously and independently of one another. For example, nine video slot reel games can be generated simultaneously. In each of the video slot reel games, the symbols falling on one or more pay lines can be evaluated for winning combinations. In addition, a secondary array, such as a three by three array, can be populated with symbols that were presented in the plurality of video slot reel games. The symbols appearing in the secondary array can be presented to display like an additional video slot game. The symbols falling on one or more pay lines through the secondary array can be evaluated for winning combinations.
Abstract: A server which provides game play services, such as game play services associated with progressive games, is described. The server provides the game play services to remote gaming machines via a network protocol and a network interface. The server is configured to monitor the network connections associated with the network protocol in real-time to ensure that only valid processes executing on the server are utilizing the network connections. In one embodiment, software ports, associated with the network protocol and utilized to provide the game play services, are monitored. The monitoring can prevent malicious programs from utilizing the network connections for fraudulent purposes.
Abstract: A system and method for modifying non-gaming functionality of a plurality of gaming machines is provided. The plurality of gaming machines each includes at least one display device, an audio device, a gaming controller configured to execute machine readable instructions to present one or more games at the gaming machine, and a non-gaming controller configured to execute machine readable instruction to modify one or more non-gaming attributes of the gaming machine. A server is communicatively connected through a network to the plurality of gaming machines. The server is configured to send machine readable instructions through the network to the non-gaming controller to select one or more of the plurality of gaming machines and cause the selected one or more the plurality of gaming machines to modify one or more non-gaming attributes of the gaming machine.
