Patent number: 8733689Abstract: A device provides electrical continuity between aeronautical components including a first fixed component and a second component displaceable with respect to the first component. The first and second components include electrically conducting surfaces. A first conductive piece is fixed to the first component and a second conductive piece is fixed to the second component. The first and second pieces are joined together with the possibility of sliding one on the other, in such a way that the first piece is connected to the conductive surface of the first component and the second piece is connected to the conductive surface of the second component, so that, when displacements take place of the second component with respect to the first component, the first piece slides on the second piece maintaining the electrical conductivity between the first and second components.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2010Date of Patent: May 27, 2014Assignee: Airbus Operations, S.L.Inventors: Vicente Martínez Valdegrama, José Luis Lozano García, Gonzalo Ramírez Blanco

Patent number: 8734711Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a profile from composite fiber material, in particular in the aviation and aerospace field, having the following steps: A preliminary fabric, particularly made of pre-impregnated fiber material, is first packed in a vacuum bag. Then support elements are laid on the packed preliminary fabric to support the latter. The vacuum bag is then supplied with a vacuum. Next, the preliminary fabric is hardened to the profile under the action of heat, in particularly in an autoclave. With the claimed method the support elements can be formed advantageously from favorable material, in particular aluminum, instead of highly expensive nickel-36 steel, since the support elements are uncoupled mechanically from the preliminary fabric in a longitudinal direction by means of the vacuum bag, enabling movement of the support elements in the longitudinal direction relative to the preliminary fabric.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2008Date of Patent: May 27, 2014Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Hauke Lengsfeld, Wolfgang Cruys, Roland Brandenburg, René Schroeder, Hans Marquardt
