Abstract: A fuselage for an aircraft. The fuselage has a control element with an integrated engine outlet. The control element is integrated at a rear end of the fuselage, so that the control element terminates flush with an outer skin of the fuselage in a circumferential direction of the fuselage. An outer wall of the control element surrounds the engine outlet wherein the engine outlet is directed towards an open rear side of the control element. The control element is connected to the fuselage such that the control element jointly the engine outlet is pivotable about a rotation axis with respect to the fuselage. The rotation axis runs transversely to a longitudinal direction of the fuselage and the control element functions as a tailplane when pivoting about the rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 11771933
Abstract: A fire sensor, fire sensing apparatus and a fire sensing system are disclosed. The fire sensor includes a layer of fibers arranged to cross one another at intersections. The fibers have an electromagnetic property which is changeable upon contact with fire and they are individually connectible to a detector of fire sensing apparatus to detect any change in the electromagnetic property. A change in electromagnetic property detected at any intersection of two fibers will indicate a fire at the location of that intersection. A movement of that location across the sensor will indicate the direction of travel of the fire. The sensing system is capable of sending alerts and extinguishing the fire.

  • Patent number: 11757770
Abstract: A routing device for forwarding data packets in a data network is described. The routing device establishes a communicative connection with multiple other such routing devices that implement the same functions. A data network includes multiple routing devices as described herein. In that data network, each routing device implements and applies a proactive approach with routing tables in a stable part of the data network, and a reactive approach in an unstable part of the data network. When a packet is transmitted from a stable part of the data network to an unstable part of the data network (or vice versa), the forwarding approach is changed along the path of the packet. Thus, the routing device and the data network mitigate the effect of overhead of proactive routing approaches and the latency of reactive routing approaches.
