Abstract: A luggage compartment, for use in a vehicle, having a housing with an inner volume defining a storage space of the luggage compartment and a flap which is attached to the housing with at least one fastening device. The fastening device has a first portion attached to the flap and a second portion, wherein the second portion of the fastening device is releasably coupled to the first portion of the fastening device and attached to an outer surface of a top wall of the housing. Also a cabin component assembly with the luggage compartment and a ceiling panel arranged adjacent to the top wall of the housing of the luggage compartment and an aircraft with the cabin component assembly.

Abstract: There is provided a method of assigning use of a bandwidth for radio communication. Abstract: A method for manufacturing an acoustic absorption structure comprising a plurality of acoustic elements, each of which is positioned in one of the cells of a cellular panel. The method includes a step of manufacturing acoustic elements provided with at least two radial tongues, a step of manufacturing a cellular panel provided with slots configured to accommodate the radial tongues of each acoustic element, a step of force-fitting each acoustic element in one of the cells of the cellular panel until the radial tongues are accommodated in the slots. An acoustic absorption structure obtained using this method is provided.
Abstract: A connection assembly between two portions of a line including an inner conduit for transporting a cryogenic fluid, the assembly including two flanges which are respectively arranged at the ends of the line portions and which are configured to be held in contact with one another by virtue of a fixing arrangement. The contact zone between the two flanges includes at least two grooves for positioning seals and at least one conduit opening out, for the one part, between the two seals and, for the other part, into an expansion chamber for the cryogenic fluid. The expansion chamber is arranged in one, or in the vicinity of one, of the first connection flange and the second connection flange. The expansion chamber includes a detector for detecting the presence of the cryogenic fluid in the expansion chamber or a recess configured for the installation of such a detector.

Abstract: A water supply system for an aircraft having consumers with buffer stores connected to a water tank by lines and a pressure source. Each consumer has a filling valve between the buffer store and the pressure source. The buffer store can be filled by opening the filling valve. In each consumer, water can be removed from the buffer store by opening a consumer valve. Each consumer transmits at least one state parameter describing a state of the buffer store of the respective consumer to a control system. The control system controls opening and closing of the filling valves of the consumers taking into account the transmitted state parameters such that removal of water from the water tank by the pressure source does not exceed a threshold value at any point in time. An aircraft having a water supply system and method for controlling a water supply system are disclosed.

Abstract: A method in the field of flight control laws (CLAWs) used to control a flexible structure, for example an air to air refueling flying boom system, the method detecting the physical status determined by exogenous boundary conditions acting on the flexible structure. A computer program is provided which carries out the method for detecting the physical status of a flexible structure. A system and aircraft comprising such a flexible structure are also provided.

Abstract: In order to provide a track drive device for an aircraft that has zero backlash, a large gear reduction, the ability to self-lock, and a better load transfer and reduced wear, the track drive device drives a track member through a drive device that has at least one drive unit that is arranged adjacent to the track member. Each drive unit comprises a plurality of engaging members that are driven by a cam shaft or a cam gear such that the engaging members are sequentially shifted in a wave-like pattern which results in the track member being moved in a linear manner relative to the drive device along a longitudinal direction.

Each structure has, successively in the longitudinal direction, 1) a first cavity, the cross-section of which narrows gradually in the thickness of the coating until it closes, 2) a first connection of two walls, respectively of the first strip and the second strip, in contact with each other over part of the thickness of the coating, which provides a passage between the first cavity and a second cavity that thus form a Helmholtz resonator, 3) the second cavity, the cross-section of which gradually increases in the thickness of the coating and which is closed by a closing sheet, and 4) a second connection of two walls.
Abstract: A guide system to enable installation of a cable tie on a supporting element by passing the cable tie through a first passage to traverse the supporting element, then through a second passage to come back to the same side of the supporting element, enabling the cable tie to surround one or more cables. The guide device includes a gutter with a guide surface with two curves, a first longitudinal curve enabling the surface to extend from a passage to the other passage and a second transverse curve forming a partial envelope for receiving the cable tie and guiding and holding the cable tie in the gutter. The device also has at least one protrusion with a wedging surface projecting from the surface of the gutter to come into contact with and wedge against the supporting element to lock the gutter in position in relation to the supporting element.
