Abstract: Apparatus for rapidly feeding an artillery weapon with ammunition, comprising a conveyor assembly removably attached to a lower carriage of the weapon and including an adjustable connection which compensates for elevational and transverse movements of the firearm to maintain rapid loading thereof.
Abstract: An assembly for loading a projectile and a propellant charge into a barrel chamber of a firearm, wherein the projectile is movable from a first position at the side of a plane extending along an axis of the barrel to a second position coinciding with the barrel axis, and a rammer head assembly which pivots the propellant charge into line behind the projectile and drives the projectile and propellant charge into the firearm.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a missile launching assembly, and in particular to an apparatus for automatically separating a front cover of a missile launching tube with a reverberating shock wave created by missile propellants striking a rear cover of the tube, thereby avoiding direct contact between the front cover and the missile.
Abstract: In a missile assembly (or the like) including a motor nozzle positioned in a central portion of a rear surface of the missile and a sustainer motor positioned a distance away from the rear surface of the missile, the invention comprising a blow pipe joining the sustainer motor and nozzle assembly, with the blow pipe including a portion extending along an axis which is eccentrically positioned with respect to the longitudinal axis of the missile.

Abstract: A door or window frame assembly adapted to fit within a hole in a support surface of varying thickness and comprising a central frame consisting of one or more L-shaped members positioned such that one leg overlaps a side portion of the support surface. A separate U-shaped clamping strip with legs of varying lengths is positioned on the opposite side portion of the support surface and functions to clamp the frame member in position, with the clamping member being reversible to compensate for support surfaces of varying thicknesses.
Abstract: An improved safety device for a projectile includes a movable element which selectively positions a priming cap in position to ignite the charge of the projectile. A safety plate separating the priming cap and the main charge of the projectile is pierced by a member projected from the safety device by the gas pressure of the ignited priming cap.
