Abstract: A charging arrangement includes a vehicle having a charging module in the vehicle underbody, and a stationary charging station with a charging unit, for the inductive charging of a battery of the vehicle. The charging station is disposed close to the ground or in the ground. The charging unit is floatingly disposed in the charging station, within a predefined horizontal movement area. The charging module has at least one localization magnet and the charging unit has at least one positioning magnet. The charging unit is constructed as a primary coil, and the charging module is constructed as a secondary coil.

Abstract: A detecting probe mounting device for fixation in the proximity to a rotating member of a machine is provided. Abstract: A process is provided for the rapid and safe activation of a fuel pump, having a definable fallback level for a delivery volume of the fuel pump. The process recognizes a possible crash situation and, defines the fallback level as a first delivery volume value which is assigned to a closing position of the fuel pump in response to the recognized possible crash situation. A control system includes a crash recognition device and an electronic fuel pump with the definable fallback level, in which case the crash recognition device is connected with respect to communication with the electronic fuel pump, and the crash recognition device is constructed for implementing the process.

Abstract: A configuration and an associated operating method for tomosynthetic fluoroscopy utilize an x-ray emitter and with an x-ray detector. Abstract: An overload release is disclosed, in particular for a circuit breaker, including a metal strip which is made of at least two different types of metal and around which a heat conductor is wound. In an embodiment, the mechanical and electrical connection of the metal strip can be completely or partly disconnected, such that no current flows over the mechanical connection of the metal strip in the completely disconnected case and a portion of the current flows over the mechanical connection in the partly disconnected case.

Abstract: An actuator having a housing, a connecting element, a shape memory element which changes shape when heated, a heating element and a heat conducting element. The shape memory element is configured in substantially elongate form and is arranged in the housing such that it displaces the connecting element when it changes shape. The heating element, when activated, heats the shape memory element. The heat conducting element is in contact with the shape memory element at least some of the time, at a contact surface which is larger than 0.1 times the total surface of the shape memory element. While in contact with the shape memory element, the heat conducting element bears at least partially displaceably against the latter and has a free surface which is not in contact with either the shape memory element or the heating element that is at least 1.6 times larger than its contact surface.
Abstract: The value of a tube voltage of an x-ray tube, used to acquire x-ray projections of a patient in order to generate at least one image in each phase of a multiphase examination, is determined from a contrast-to-noise ratio that establishes the desired image quality of the image in each phase, and the tube current for each tube voltage for each phase is determined given a constantly maintained contrast-to-noise ratio for different tube voltages. For each phase, a value for the dose of x-ray radiation is defined for each different tube voltage and the associated determined tube current. From among the different tube voltages, a tube voltage is set that causes the total dose of x-ray radiation applied to the patient to be as low as possible for all phases of the examination.
