Abstract: To adapt a compressor valve to varying operational conditions of the compressor, particularly to varying numbers of revolutions and/or the respective specific weight of the transported gas, a process and a compressor valve for executing the process are provided. The process is that a compressor drive at various numbers of revolutions or transporting gas with varying specific weight, the spring force--possibly resulting from several spring forces--acting during operation on the plug in a closing direction and/or the lift of the plug is forcefully reduced with falling number of revolutions or increasing specific weight the process is reversed either continuously or in steps.

Abstract: A highly conductive polyacetylene film is obtained by orienting a catalyst-containing polyacetylene film or an essentially catalyst-free polyacetylene film which has been swelled in a solvent after the catalyst has been washed out, the polyacetylene being essentially free of sp.sup.3 -hybridized carbon atoms.
Abstract: A pacemaker has a sensor for deteching inertial and/or rotational movements of a patient in whom the pacemaker is implanted. The sensor has a hollow member with at least one freely moveable member therein, the freely moveable member generating a mechanical vibration upon movement thereof within the hollow member caused by movement or rotation of the patient. A transducer generates an electrical signal corresponding to the mechanical vibrations, the electrical signal being proportional to the movement. This electrical signal is used to vary the rate at which stimulation pulses are supplied to the patient by the pacemaker.

Abstract: An arrangement comprising a planarly extending thin-film waveguide, which is particularly useful when employed with devices that require a relatively high power and highly focused laser radiation. The arrangement comprises a planarly extending thin-film waveguide of a structure composed of a plurality of strip waveguides proceeding at a distance next to one another and a diffraction grating having rulings of a grating proceeding in a direction perpendicular to the running direction of the strip waveguides. The spacing between the neighboring rulings of the waveguides is equal to either the wave length of the wave being propagated in the thin-film waveguide or to a multiple of the wave length, and the wave is either an electromagnetic wave or an acoustical wave.

Abstract: A color photographic recording material having a magenta layer which is prepared from a casting solution containing a 4-equivalent magenta coupler of the pyrazolone series and a thiosulphonic acid ester compound has the properties of 2-equivalent magenta couplers in its coupling reactivity and the properties of 4-equivalent magenta couplers in its speed of color formation.
Abstract: A method for simulating an open fault in a logic circuit comprising field effect transistors utilizes a simulation model which is employed and which takes the fault condition signal storage into consideration by way of an output stage. Given the appearance of a fault-influence signal at the output of a simulation stage, this maintains the through-connection of the signal which appeared immediately before the influenced signal to the simulation model output. In order to take reloading events in the real logic circuit into consideration, this through-connection is canceled after a prescribable time interval.
