Abstract: In a dual port RAM having separate address controls, write/read paths and pre-loading circuits for each of the two input/output terminals, conflict situations are avoided when addressing a memory cell via the address controls of both input/outputs, through use of a clock circuit (20) which respectively alternately selects the address controls (8, 10, 9, 11) and the pre-loading circuits (16, 17) so that the address control (8, 10) for the first input/output (DEA1) and the pre-loading circuit (17) for the data lines (LP.sub.P2) allocated to the second input/output (DEA2) are activated during a first clock phase, and the address control (9, 11) of the second input/output (DEA2) and the data lines (LP.sub.P1) allocated to the first input/output (DEA1) are activated during a second clock phase.

Abstract: A circuit for monitoring a plurality of analog quantities which provides signals for exceeding of threshold values and utilizes a differential amplifier. One input of the differential amplifier is connected to a reference voltage source and the other input is connected to a reference resistor. The quantities to be monitored are represented by voltages or by impressed currents that are supplied to the input of the differential amplifier which is connected to the reference resistor and supplied thereto via decoupling diodes and coupling resistors. A plurality of coupling resistors are connected with reference resistor to form a single voltage divider whose taps receive the representative voltages or, impressed currents and are supplied in graduated steps according to values of the allocated threshold values.

Abstract: A power supply arrangement (2) with a first controlled power output (12) and a second controlled output (26) also has a controlled backup output (16) which is connected by means of a buffered bus with several read/write memories (8) of a computer (4). The read/write memories (8) of the computer (4) can be switched over to a stand-by mode in case of a power failure and connected with a backup battery (20). In accordance with the invention, the read/write memories (8) are switched during normal network operation to an active operating mode connected by means of a low-impedance switch (34) with the controlled power output (12). The low-impedance switch (34) is controlled by means of a switching signal (U.sub.S1). The backup battery (20) is connected with the controlled backup output (16) via a second switch (46) and a series controller (48).
Abstract: A system for controlling at least one variable influencing the drive torque of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, with an electronic throttle control, an electronic ignition timing control and a control device which becomes active when there is a tendency to spin of at least one driven wheel. The instantaneous engine speed is stored and the drive torque reduced to a certain value, assigned to the engine speed, and subsequently increased again, at a rate of rise dependent on the engine speed, when the tendency of spin of the driven wheel subsides. Consequently, major excess torque are avoided and greater traction and lateral control force is achieved.

Abstract: The adherence of an individual fibre embedded in a polymer matrix is determined by a drawing experiment in which the fibre is drawn out of the polymer matrix and simultaneously the pertaining force-distance diagram is registered. To this end a test sample consisting of the polymer matrix with the individual fibre embedded therein is manufactured by melting down a quantity of polymer present in granular or powder form on an object holder, the individual fibre is dipped into the molten polymer mass and the polymer mass is subsequently cooled down below the melting point. Subsequently the object holder with the test sample adhering thereto is brought into a force-distance measuring device, and the free end of the fibre is fixed to a chucking device moveable in the direction of the fibre.

Abstract: A form for a concrete tunnel lining usable behind a tunnel excavator with a traveling shield is made of an inner tunnel-lining sheathing and a form front. The inner tunnel-lining sheathing is divided into a plurality of sheathing segments or rings movable independently of each other with intervening segment-bridging yieldable joints. The form front located between the traveling shield and the inner tunnel-lining sheathing is movable forwardly by the conrete which presses in the annular space formed by the traveling shield and/or the surrounding earth and by the inner tunnel-lining sheathing as well as the form front. An operationally beneficial design results when the inner tunnel-lining sheathing is set up for forward motion of the sheathing segments in the tunnel longitudinal direction singly or in groups one after the other relative to the remaining sheathing segments held or remaining at rest.

Abstract: In the formation of finished slide surfaces for slide rails on a track for an electromagnetically levitated vehicle, the track is constructed as a girder-like beam with the slide rails located on cantilevered parts of the upper surface of the beam. The beam can be formed of prestressed concrete. Initially the slide rails are provided with a height oversize. The height oversize part of the slide rails is removed and the slide surface of the rails are finished to the desired degree. The height oversize part is removed by cutting and grinding devices mounted on a machine frame movable over the upper surface of the track. The machine frame is adjustable in the vertical direction from a datum plane formed by the lower surfaces of support stators secured to the undersides of the cantilevered parts of the track. The machine frame rides on the upper surface of the beam and is in contact with the lower surfaces of the support stators.
