    Abstract: A photographic developing apparatus has an elastic conveyor belt and at least one clamp which is designed to be mounted on the conveyor belt and to engage a strip of photographic material. The clamp has spaced gripping elements which define an opening of width less than that of the conveyor belt and are arranged to engage the marginal portions of the belt. A mechanism for mounting the clamp on the conveyor belt is also provided and includes a female die as well as a male die. The mounting mechanism additionally includes means for juxtaposing the clamp and the belt with one another in such a manner that the central portion of the belt and the opening in the clamp are each in register with a cavity in the female die while the marginal portions of the belt are movably confined between the clamp and support surfaces on the female die. When the clamp and the belt are thus positioned, the male die is moved into the female die. This causes the marginal portions of the belt to approach one another.

    Abstract: The device, suitable for use in a hand roller, for transferring a film from a carrier tape to a substrate is a cartridge containing a feed reel and a windup reel. The tape travels by way of a protruding stiff applicator bar which has a pressure-applying edge for pressing the tape against the substrate. The stiff applicator bar is on a spring support member which can be deflected until a protrusion on the bar encounters a detent fixed on the housing. The application bar has its pressure-applying edge appropriately shaped to facilitate the transfer action.

    Abstract: A package for photoresist material, particularly a dry resist, is substantially impermeable to water vapor, thereby preventing humidity-related effects which adversely influence the processability of the photoresist. The package can comprise a film tubing, the ends of which are closed by welding or gluing, into which a photoresist roll is placed. As the material for the film tubing, a composite material can be used which is formed of a polyester film as the support film, to which an aluminum foil is laminated or which is vacuum-metallized with aluminum and a polyethylene film laminated on top. A tinplate container can also be used as a package, the container being closed by soldering after placing the photoresist material inside the container. These packages generally have a permeability to water vapor of less than 0.01 gram of water vapor per square meter per day, at a humidity gradient of 97% and an ambient temperature of 23.degree. C.

    Abstract: An arrangement for removing soot particles from the exhaust stream of a diesel internal combustion engine in such a manner that the soot particles are caught between conductor elements disposed at different potential, produce a short circuit and thereby burn off. In order to be able to realize a purification of the exhaust gas stream without a significant increase of the exhaust gas counterpressure, a centrifugal separator is connected to the exhaust gas line, which passes over into a soot particle collecting chamber constructed axially symmetrical to the longitudinal axis thereof; a predetermined number of electrodes is arranged in turn in the soot particle collecting chamber at a slight distance to the casing interior surface whereby the electrodes among one another or the electrodes and the soot particle collecting chamber itself are at a different potential.

The chronologically preceding, reconstructed, movement-compensated image signal is represented in a plurality of image signals having different topical resolution in the same way.

The evaporator and the heat exchanger are arranged relative to one another so that the paths of the hot air and of the cold air from the blower to inlet openings of the various air discharge outlets are the same and so that the path of the hot air from the evaporator to the inlet openings is 1.3 to 1.8 times longer than the path of the cold air from the evaporator to the air outlet ducts. The inlet openings of the air outlet ducts emanate from a common chamber in the housing.

    Abstract: Light emitting diode (LED) display devices having several luminous segments are disposed inside a transparent front support plate and each of a plurality of light emission diodes is associated with one of the respective luminous segment via a light conducting segment. This display device requires little space, is easy and cost-effective to manufacture, and permits great design flexibility in order to make possible an expansion of its area of use. The invention provides to this end that the light conducting segment is formed in the region of the respective luminous segment as a quasi planar light guide structure for the distribution of the light emitted by the respective light emission diode in the region of the luminous segment. The light emitting diode display device in accordance with the invention is suitable as a LED display for numerals and/or symbols.
