It also relates to a phosphated 2-propylheptanol alkoxylate per se, and an alkaline cleaning composition comprising a C8-C18-alcohol alkoxylate containing 1-20 ethyleneoxy units and phosphated 2-propylheptanol and/or a phosphated 2-propylheptanol alkoxylate as a hydrotrope.
