Abstract: Mascara sample dispenser applicators have a mascara applicator including a rod and a tip for applying the mascara to the eyelashes of the user. A receptacle contains a small amount of mascara and includes both a first opening through which the rod passes and a second opening through which the applicator tip is pushed out by translation of the rod relative to the receptacle, allowing the user to apply mascara. The second opening may be hermetically sealed by a film that cannot be returned to its original position or condition after use.

Abstract: The invention relates to a laminated material for forming a flexible container for holding a hair dye or the like, the laminated material having a first surface which, in use, forms the internal surface of the container, and a second surface which, in use, forms the external surface of the container, the laminated material comprising an inner layer, an outer layer and an intermediate metal foil barrier layer, wherein the inner layer is on the first surface side of the metal foil barrier layer, and wherein the outer layer is on the second surface side of the metal foil barrier layer, wherein the laminated material has a total thickness of at most 240 ?m, and wherein the inner layer comprises polyethylene and has a mean density of 0.92 to 0.94 g/cm3.

A spring exerts a force tending to assist the opening of the tray forming the drawer or a force tending to assist its closing depending on whether or not the tray forming the drawer is open beyond an intermediate position which corresponds to an unstable position for the spring. The spring may be two torsion springs arranged symmetrically on either side of an axis extending along the direction of the opening or closing movement of the tray forming the drawer.

In some embodiments, each branch includes a plurality of strands pre-twisted together to create the non-circular cross-section of each branch, forming a multi-helicoidal stem.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention there is provided a method of manufacturing an applicator brush for use in applying a product, such as a cosmetic product, the method comprising providing a plurality of fibers, decorating the fibers so as to define at least one colored region, and fitting the decorated fibers to a stem so as to define a cosmetic applicator brush, wherein the step of decorating the fibers includes a step of coloring the fibers using dye sublimation so that individual fibers have an outer colored region and an inner uncolored region. In an embodiment, an individual fiber is decorated with a color that is different to another individual fiber extending from the stem. Alternatively, or in addition, an individual fiber is decorated with at least two colors.
