Abstract: A clock information correction unit 15 is provided to correct the broadcast start/end times of an electronic program guide (EPG) generated in reference to the standard time. To perform this correction, the clock information correction unit 15 uses the standard time, which is the Greenwich Mean Time received by a standard time reception unit 11 of a broadcast reception device 100, and the clock time counted by an internal clock 21 of a head unit 200. The aforementioned correction is made based not on the time difference between time zones, but on the clock time of the internal clock 21. Thereby, without time zone setting based on GPS positional information or selection by a user operation, the broadcast start/end times of the EPG can be adjusted to correspond to the time of the internal clock.

Abstract: An information acquiring unit acquires from a server the same type of information to be shown correspondingly in vehicle-mounted apparatuses with respect to one content, and information display units cause their displays to show the information to be shown correspondingly in the apparatuses from the same type of information acquired by the information acquiring unit. An operation for a content acquisition request by one of the plurality of vehicle-mounted apparatuses may only be required for showing the same type of information in synchronization on displays of the vehicle-mounted apparatuses, without separate operations for a content acquisition request in the vehicle-mounted apparatuses.
Abstract: In a touch screen device, a second space is secured between a peripheral edge of an opening of an exterior case and a panel surface of a touch panel; an elastic body is provided on the back surface of an easily deformable portion extending along the peripheral edge of the opening; and a third space that is narrower than the second space is secured between the elastic body and the panel surface of the touch panel. When the easily deformable portion is pressed and bent by the input operation, the elastic body is brought into contact with the panel surface and displaces the touch panel backward so that the vibrating touch panel does not come into direct contact with the peripheral edge of the opening.
Abstract: A speaker includes a magnetic circuit, a voice coil, and a diaphragm which are disposed in a case. The case is placed in an engine compartment of an automobile. Reproduced sound is emitted through a duct protruding outward from the case. A partition wall, which is a metal body frame of the automobile, is present between the engine compartment and the cabin space. The duct is inserted into a hole formed in the partition wall so that a sound port faces and protrudes into the cabin space. A heat dissipation port is formed in the case, and an end surface the magnetic circuit facing the partition wall is exposed in the heat dissipation port. An elastically deformable thermal conductive sheet is sandwiched between the partition wall and the end surface of the magnetic circuit.
Abstract: An audio device transfers voice data which requests playback, generated by a user to a portable player. The portable player performs voice recognition of the transferred voice data. Control for playback start is started in accordance with the content as the result of the voice recognition. The audio device starts monitoring for a playback state of the portable player. If the start of the playback operation is detected within a predetermined period, an output source of sound to be output is changed to the portable player.
