  • Patent number: 10639674
Abstract: A drive waveform setting unit sets a drive waveform of a drive signal, and a drive current is applied to a drive coil provided in a response force generation mechanism in accordance with the drive waveform. The drive waveform has a first drive section in which a signal intensity increases linearly and a second drive section including a peak. An increase rate of the signal intensity in the second drive section is lower than that in the first drive section. As a result, it is easy to follow the frequency characteristics of a driver circuit, and it is possible to increase a voltage to be applied to a drive coil.

  • Patent number: 10641612
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for correcting position error in a navigation system by utilizing user input received via a human-machine interface, where the user input indicates the location of a user as perceived by the user. The navigation system includes a positioning module, navigation sensors, a map database and a human-machine interface that are employed to calculate and display the current position to the user. The method and apparatus are advantageously used in situations with intermittent or unavailable GPS signal, cumulative navigational sensor errors, and cases where map database information is incorrect. The positioning module receives and processes user input from the human-machine interface and analyzes the user input against the result of a map-matching algorithm to correct positioning errors.

  • Patent number: 10604012
Abstract: A display control device is connected to a display device, and the display control device includes a storage unit to store moving object information which is acquired on a first cycle in correlation with time information. A generation unit reads the moving object information stored in the storage unit and generates image data. The image data generated by the generation unit is displayed on a second cycle which is longer than the first cycle. The generation unit calculates the moving object information corresponding to a generation start time of the N-th generated image data on the basis of the moving object information which is stored in the storage unit at times before and after the generation start time and generates the (N+1)-th image data.

Abstract: An inclination angle of a display unit having a display is detected, the inclination angle being around an axis of the display unit in the fore-aft direction of a vehicle. The left and right of an image representing a scene behind the vehicle, the image being obtained by photography with a camera, is reversed. The reversed image is inclined through an angle that has the same absolute value as the detected inclination angle in a direction opposite to the direction of the inclination of the inclination angle. A display image range is set on the inclined image. An image in the display image range is extracted and displayed on the display.

  • Patent number: 10602081
Abstract: When a vehicle stops due to a red light, an image of a scene viewed from a virtual point of view, which moves along a virtual point-of-view moving route, in a virtual line-of-sight direction is displayed on a head-up display. Assuming that a next intersection at which to change lane according to a guidance route is the target intersection, a combination of the virtual point of view and virtual line-of-sight direction is gradually changed from a combination in which a scene is viewed from the point of view of the user in the forward direction of the vehicle to a combination for taking a bird's eye view of a geographic range that includes the current position of the vehicle and then to a combination for taking a bird's eye view of a geographic range that includes the target intersection from a point near the target intersection.

  • Publication number: 20200081616
Abstract: An operation apparatus detects a finger using a sensor disposed on an operation plane and further determines a movement distance of the finger so as to change an operation of a controlled device, such as an in-vehicle air conditioner. A finger touching or approaching the operation plane is detected by an electrostatic sensor. An air volume of the air conditioner which is the controlled device is changed by a movement of the detected finger in an X1 or X2 direction. When the finger is moved by a first distance from a first detected position, the air volume is changed in a predetermined range. Thereafter, every time the finger is moved by a second distance which is different than the first distance, the air volume is changed in a range equivalent to a range in the case of the movement by the first distance.
