  • Patent number: 10560792
Abstract: Method and devices for testing a headphone with increased sensation are provided. The headphone can filter and amplify low frequency audio signals, which are then sent to a haptic device in the headphone. The haptic device can cause bass sensations at the top of the skull and at both ear cups. The testing system can evaluate the haptic and acoustic sensations produced by the headphone to evaluate if they have been properly assembled and calibrate the headphones if necessary.

  • Publication number: 20200020315
Abstract: Audio (noise source) is output as a cancellation sound through a variable filter and a first filter, and transmitted to the second filter. A subtractor subtracts an output of a second filter from an output of a microphone, and an adaptive algorithm execution unit updates a transfer function of the variable filter so that the subtracted result becomes zero (0). A transfer function A for the first filter is a transfer function which can cancel noise at a position of a user's ear by setting, as the cancellation sound, a sound obtained by applying the transfer function A to audio at the time of learning, and a transfer function B for the second filter is a transfer function which can eliminate, for the cancellation sound, a difference between a sound obtained by applying the transfer function B to audio and the output of the microphone.

  • Patent number: 10530103
Abstract: An electrical connector casing enclosing an electrical connector comprises a case part having a connector inlet, and a lid part having a lid opening, where the openings of the connector inlet and the lid opening have a substantially the same shape and are angled differently from each other as viewed from a front-back direction. An electric connector is inserted from the back of the lid part through the lid opening, and is rotated to be inserted into the connector inlet from the back of the case part. When the lid part attaches to the case part, due to the rotationally different angles between the lid opening and the connector inlet, the electric connector is securely held inside the casing.

  • Publication number: 20190392993
Abstract: An electronic unit includes an electrolytic capacitor, a covering resin layer, and electronic components. The electrolytic capacitor is on an upper surface of an insulating substrate. The covering resin layer covers the upper surface of the insulating substrate and the electronic components. Part of the covering resin layer serves as an electrolytic capacitor covering portion. The electrolytic capacitor covering portion includes an outer peripheral covering portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of the electrolytic capacitor and a top covering portion that covers a top portion of the electrolytic capacitor. A thin wall groove is formed in the top covering portion. The outer peripheral covering portion extends upward beyond the top covering portion by a height h. The top covering portion easily breaks at the thin wall groove so that an explosion-proof valve easily operates. A region corresponding to the height h creates an operating space of the explosion-proof valve.

  • Patent number: 10462555
Abstract: An opening portion is formed along an outer peripheral edge of a diaphragm in a second casing portion partitioned by the diaphragm. In the opening portion, a plurality of fins is arranged at regular intervals, and an air passage is formed between every adjacent two of the fins. The fin and the air passage are formed so as to be at an angle to a corresponding imaginary line that extends from the vibration center line of the diaphragm in the radial direction. By forming each of the air passages obliquely, noise generated by an air flow due to sound pressure is reduced.
