  • Patent number: 12093571
Abstract: A network device can be used on a client side and a server side to accelerate request/response protocols for object transfers between the client side and the server side. The network device can interface with an application executing on the host device, which can allow the network device to expose different operations that can enable acceleration of different higher level object transfer commands. The network device can expose operations to pre-post anonymous receive buffers and client buffers even before the server side responds to the object transfer commands, which can allow the client buffers to be available to the server early on. Small transfers can be performed without remote direct memory access (RDMA) and can be received in the anonymous receive buffers at the server side. Bulk object data can be sent via RDMA for direct data placement into the client buffers to enable zero copy.

  • Patent number: 12093160
Abstract: System and methods for IoT event detector correctness verification. Detector models (e.g., state-based models including variables, states, transitions and actions) take IoT device data as input and detect, based on the data, events that triggers actions. To verify a correctness of the models prior to deploying the models at scale, an event detector model correctness checker obtains a representation of a definition of the model, verifies, based on analysis of the model definition, whether the model complies with correctness properties, and generates a report indicating whether the model complies. Example correctness properties include a reachability correctness property that indicates that respective states or actions are reachable according to the definition of the event detector model. The analysis may be accessed via an interface element and may result in generation of a report that identifies a location of non-compliance within the model definition.

  • Patent number: 12094463
Abstract: A speech-processing system may provide access to one or more virtual assistants via an audio-controlled device. A virtual assistant may be invoked by speaking a wakeword. In some cases, a default virtual assistant may be invoked when an utterance is spoken without a preceding wakeword. Such a multi-assistant speech-processing system may make an early determination that a received utterance does not include a wakeword, and begin processing the utterance prior to completion of the utterance, thereby reducing user perceived latency. For example, the system may start a timer when a gesture and/or voice activity is detected. If no wakeword is detected after a time corresponding to speaking durations of known wakewords, the system may determine that the utterance is to be processed according to the default virtual assistant.
