Abstract: A system and method of deploying a master key for a first communication device and second communication device. The first communication device receives a request message from the second communication device through a wireless communication network, and creates a master key algorithm based on configuration parameters of the request message. The first communication device further generates a master key according to the master key algorithm, verifies whether the master key created by the first communication device is correct, and installs the master key in the first and second communication devices when the master key is correct.

Abstract: A method for configuring IP addresses of a router broadcasts a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) discover packet over a network for receiving a DHCP offer packet sent from the modem. The DHCP offer packet comprises the private IP address of the modem. The method further obtains the private IP address of the modem from the DHCP offer packet, and configures IP addresses of a WAN port and a LAN port of the router according to the private IP address of the modem, so as to allow the private IP address of the modem to be in the same network segment with the IP address of the WAN port but in different network segments with the IP address of the LAN port.

Abstract: A radio frequency (RF)-based communication terminal includes a first switching chip, a second switching chip, a comparison module, a low noise amplifier (LNA), a first filter, a power amplifier (PA), a second filter, and a control module. The comparison module compares the power of a radio signal Rx received from a base station with a pre-stored signal and to output a control signal according to the comparison result. The control module controls conductive modes of the first and the second switching chips according to the control signal. In the first conductive mode, a radio signal Tx is sent out from the PA and the second filter. In the second conductive mode, the radio signal Tx is exchanged to send out from the LNA and first filter.

Abstract: An accessory printed circuit board (PCB) fixture is used in an electronic device to fix an accessory PCB. One end of the accessory PCB electronically connects to an edge connector of a main PCB located in the electronic device. The other end of the accessory PCB defines at least two holes. The accessory PCB fixture includes at least one positioning foot fixed on the main PCB, at least two latch portions and a connecting portion rigidly connecting the positioning foot with the latch portions. The latch portions match the holes of the accessory PCB to fix the accessory PCB. Each latch portion includes a supporting portion, a positioning portion and a hook. One surface of the accessory PCB is supported on the supporting portions. The positioning portions are received in the holes of the accessory PCB. The hooks are latched on the other surface of the accessory PCB.

Abstract: A method for controlling a remote wireless device with a user device includes the user device sending a request message packet to the remote wireless device, where the remote wireless device verifies the request message packet and sends a reply message packet to the user device if the request message packet passes verification. The user device verifies the reply message packet and sends a control message packet to the remote wireless device if the reply message packet passes verification. The remote wireless device verifies the control message packet and sends an acknowledgment message packet to the user device if the control message packet passes verification.

Abstract: A dual-band antenna assembly is positioned on a substrate, and includes an insulation body, a plane antenna and a microstrip antenna. The insulation body includes a plane surface paralleled to the substrate, and a side surface perpendicularly extending from edges of the plane surface to the substrate. The plane antenna includes a first feed portion and a first radiator. The first feed portion passes through the substrate to the plane surface of the insulation body. The first radiator is substantially positioned on a center of the plane surface of the insulation body, and electrically connected to the first feed portion. The microstrip antenna includes a second feed portion and a second radiator. The second radiator is a microstrip, electrically connected to the second feed portion and positioned on the side surface of the insulation body.

Abstract: A multiband antenna includes a feed portion, a radiating portion, and a ground via. The feed portion includes a first feed section and a second feed section paralleled to each other. The radiating portion includes a first radiator, a second radiator and a third radiator. The first radiator is L shaped with a free end. The second radiator is L shaped with a free end. The free ends of the second radiator and the first radiator extend toward to each other and partially overlap to define a slot therebetween. The third radiator includes a trapezoid section and a connecting section. The short portion includes a first short section and a second short section. The first short section connects the first radiator to the ground via, and the second short section connects the second radiator and the third radiator to the ground via.

Abstract: A modem to process calling packets includes receiving a calling request packet from a software phone of a communication terminal, and determining if the calling request packet includes a special tag. If the IP phone is idle, the modem records a source IP address of the calling request packet, and modifies the source IP of the calling request packet to be an IP address of the IP phone, then the modem transmits the modified calling request packet to a server, and receives a calling reply packet from the server, then modifies a destination IP address of the calling reply packet to be the IP address of the communication terminal. The modem transmits the modified calling reply packet to the software phone to establish the call.

Abstract: An integrated access device (IAD) protects overcurrent of a DAA chipset. The IAD periodically detects an on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset, and periodically monitors an OPD state of the DAA chipset upon the condition that the on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset is detected in off-hook state at least twice. The IAD further sets the on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset as on-hook to avoid damage to the DAA chipset caused by overcurrent upon the condition that the OPD state of the DAA chipset indicates the DAA chipset is overcurrent.

Abstract: A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) device includes a substrate, a shielding cover and a MIMO antenna. The shielding cover is positioned on the substrate, and includes a plurality of sidewalls. The MIMO antenna includes a first solid antenna, a second solid antenna, and a plane antenna. The first solid antenna and the second solid antenna are electrically connected to two ends of one sidewall of the shielding cover, respectively. The first plane antenna is configured on the substrate, and disposed between the first solid antenna and the second solid antenna.

Abstract: A locking mechanism includes a tray to receive a hard disk drive and a locking apparatus. The locking apparatus includes a base attached to a front wall of the tray, a handle pivotally connected to the base, and a locking member attached to the base. The base defines a receiving chamber and a mounting hole in communication with the receiving chamber. The locking member includes a sliding portion slidably received in the receiving chamber of the base to impel the handle to pivot relative to the base, and a locking tongue attached to the sliding portion. Movement of the locking tongue relative to the mounting hole causes the locking mechanism to toggle between a locked and unlocked position.

Abstract: A router includes a wide area network (WAN) interface, a switch circuit, and a driver. The WAN interface receives a multicast datagram from a multicast server and sends the multicast datagram to the switch circuit and the driver. The switch circuit obtains ports corresponding to a multicast address of the multicast datagram according to a switching table of the router, and distributes the multicast datagram to the obtained ports. The driver obtains interfaces corresponding to the multicast address of the multicast datagram according to a multicasting table of the router. The driver discards the multicast datagram if all the obtained interfaces are wired or multicasts the multicast datagram to the wireless interface if one of the obtained interfaces is the wireless interface.

Abstract: A dual temperature control circuit detects a first temperature of a first location and a second temperature of a second location. The dual temperature control circuit transforms the first temperature to a first voltage signal, and transforms the second temperature to a second voltage signal, and compares the first voltage signal and the second voltage signal to output a third voltage signal, where a controlled circuit is controlled according to the third voltage signal.

Abstract: A port detection and protection circuit utilizes a voltage detection circuits to output a detection signal according to a voltage difference between the tip signal and the ring signal and utilizes a ring detection circuit to output another detection signal according to a voltage difference between a Subscriber Line Interface Circuit (SLIC) tip signal and a SLIC ring signal signaling an incoming call. In addition, the port detection and protection circuit utilizes at least one logic component to output logic signals according to the detection signals. The port detection and protection circuit further switches a loop of a tip wire, a ring wire and the SLIC on or/and off based on logic signals, and issues an alarm according to the logic signals.

Abstract: A universal serial bus (USB) drive includes a control button, a control signal generating circuit, a flash memory, a connection port, a processor, and an indication lamp. The USB drive generates a removal instruction from a connection device, according to a user operation thereon. The USB drive determines whether the flash memory is in a working state and controls the connection port to disconnect from the connection device, if the flash memory is not in the working state. The indication lamp on the USB drive provides a notification that the connection port is disconnected from the connection device.

Abstract: A network device measures upstream bandwidth of a communication network. The communication network includes a server and a plurality of communication nodes. The network device transmits a sequence of Internet control message protocol (ICMP) request datagrams corresponding to a sequence of time to live (TTL) increased from a first value to a second value to the server via the communication nodes. The network device designates the communication node that transmits an overtime datagram first as the best communication node, transmits a plurality of ICMP detection datagrams to the best communication node, receives response datagrams and records receiving time thereof, and calculates the upstream bandwidth according to size of the plurality of ICMP detection datagrams and the recorded receiving time of the response datagrams.

Abstract: A cleaning device to clean a plurality of nozzles of a surface-mount technology (SMT) includes a first cleaning container, a supporting board, a filtering member, a second cleaning container and a connection member. The first cleaning container defines a first opening in a bottom thereof. The supporting board to fix the plurality of nozzles is connected to the bottom of the first container. The filtering member is located at a bottom of the supporting board. The second cleaning container is connected to the filtering member, and operable to receive cleaning fluid. The connection member is connected the first cleaning container and the second cleaning container. Injection of air to the first cleaning container and the second cleaning container allows the cleaning fluid to circularly flow through the second cleaning container, the connection member, the first cleaning container, the supporting board, and the filtering member to clean the plurality of nozzles.

Abstract: A method of a router to process IPv6 packets includes: receiving a packet and determining whether the packet is IPv6 packet; determining the source of the IPv6 packet according to the control information of the IPv6 packet if the packet is IPv6 packet; modifying the control information of the IPv6 packet according to the source of the IPv6 packet, and transmitting the IPv6 packet directly to a wide area network (WAN) or a local area network (LAN) according to the modified control information of the IPv6 packet.

Abstract: A voltage protection circuit includes a first voltage dividing circuit, a second voltage dividing circuit, a transistor and a switching power supply integrated circuit. The first resistor includes a first resistor and a second resistor. The second voltage dividing circuit includes a third resistor and a fourth resistor. The transistor with a base connected to a common end of the first resistor and the second resistor, a collector connected to a common end of the third resistor and the fourth resistor, an emitter connected to ground. The switching power supply integrated circuit includes an input pin, an enable pin and an output pin.

Abstract: An electronic system comprises a memory, a parser, and a device driver. A plurality of applications and a document are stored in a user space of the memory, the document storing configuration parameters. The parser module parses the document to retrieve the parameters in response to invocation from at least one application. The device driver creates data structure for the parameters in the kernel space of the memory, thus to facilitate a plurality of programs to execute different functions of the system by commonly utilizing the parameters through the device driver.
