Abstract: The disclosed methods, systems, and computer-program products allow a business to generate data quality indicators for relationships in a database. In an embodiment, one or more relationships linked to a customer are retrieved from a database to form a set of relationships. A match confidence code is generated for each relationship based on a score generated by the comparison of customer data associated with the respective relationship and corresponding customer data obtained from an external industry database. A link confidence code is subsequently determined for the customer based on a score generated by the scores used to define the match confidence code for each relationship in the set of relationships and on internal data associated with each relationship in the set of relationships.

  • Patent number: 8104675
Abstract: The invention includes systems and methods for facilitating risk assessment for point of sale transactions utilizing at least one risk triggering value (RTV) stored within a distributed (e.g., local and/or regional) processing site. An RTV is a condensed version of a set of complex risk data and strategies usually found in central processing sites. The distributed site, after receiving a request for payment authorization, a risk value is calculated for the request. The distributed processing site compares the risk value to the RTV to determine whether to authorize payment. If the risk value is less than or equal to the RTV, the payment is authorized while a risk value greater than the RTV will not be authorized. After one or more authorizations, the distributed processing site forwards the information from the transaction(s) to the central site, wherein the central site calculates a new RTV for the account and distributes the new RTV to the distributed processing site.

  • Publication number: 20120016730
Abstract: The invention includes facilitating the substantially real-time transfer of loyalty points between accounts. The method and system include receiving a transfer request (e.g., consumer request, triggering event, etc) for a transfer of a certain number of loyalty points, accessing and analyzing the total number of loyalty points in the transferor account to determine if a sufficient number of points exist, analyzing the type/level of consumer and type/level of points to be involved in the transfer, deducting the requested loyalty points from the transferor account, determining if any rules exist for restricting or limiting the transfer of points, using a conversion engine to convert the point value to an appropriate point value in the transferee account and increasing the point balance in the transferee account.

  • Publication number: 20120011154
Abstract: A system and method for a user to test and transfer data from a client's database or network to a host's database or network is disclosed. A user acquires data information from a client and the user uses this information to generate a spreadsheet, and to populate the spreadsheet with assumed values based on the information received from the client. The user requests and receives a test file from the client and uses a developed algorithm to reformat the file so that it is consistent with the host's database configuration. The user determines the consistency between the reformatted file and the host's database by comparing the reformatted file to the previously generated spreadsheet. Any inconsistencies identified alert the user that the file reformatting algorithm needs updating.

Abstract: A method for receiving a user input for providing offerings is disclosed. Fields may be populated for creating a database query for matching a selection of offerings to a population of customers. Data may be received from the database, in response to interactively building the query and/or executing the query. Multiple rank ordered results may be produced for comparison, wherein the producing uses preprogrammed analytics, data from the database and user input, and wherein the results include customer lists linked to a distinct offering and a preferred delivery channel of the offering to a customer. A transaction account may be offered through the preferred delivery channel from the rank ordered transaction account results to the customer. The response from the customer to the offering may be tracked, wherein the preprogrammed analytics are adjusted for use in subsequent offerings based upon the response tracking results.
