Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for detecting security breaches using watchdog transaction accounts. A security agent can initiate a purchase with a first electronic commerce system and provide a watchdog transaction account as payment for the purchase. The security agent can then store a record of the purchase which includes a merchant identifier for the merchant and the watchdog transaction account. Subsequently, a transaction authorization system can determine that authorization for a transaction with second electronic commerce system failed. If the transaction authorization system determines that the account used in the transaction with the second electronic commerce system, then the transaction authorization system can determine that the first electronic commerce system has suffered a security breach.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for establishing a connection between a client device and a third-party entity device and providing services associated with a third-party entity to the client device according to user-defined access permissions. A context environment can be determined according to user data and third-party entity data. Services available to the user device can be selected according to the context environment, the user-defined access permissions and third-party defined instructions. Upon selecting the services, the services are provided to the client device and a connection between the client device and a third-party entity device can be established.

Abstract: The method includes receiving historical data from a first data source; analyzing the historical data for a desired characteristic; determining a representative value for the desired characteristic of the historical data; determining a first data expectation for the historical data based on the representative value; transmitting the first data expectation to a first data recipient; receiving first incoming data from the first data source; analyzing the desired characteristic of the first incoming data; determining a first incoming data value for the desired characteristic for the first incoming data; comparing the first incoming data value and the representative value; determining a first difference between the first incoming data value and the representative value; and/or comparing the first difference to a difference threshold which indicates whether a difference between an incoming data value and the representative value is significant.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for tracking the flow of data through a network environment. A monitor can detect that a data transaction event has occurred. Then, the monitor can identify data involved in the data transaction event. Next, a trace identifier can be assigned to the data involved in the data transaction event. Subsequently, a transaction data subset representing a subset of the data involved in the data transaction event that is subject to a common data processing event can be identified. Then, a span identifier can be assigned to the transaction data subset. Next, a correlation identifier can be link to a combination of the span identifier and the trace identifier. Finally, a transaction event record can be written to a distributed ledger, the transaction event record comprising the span identifier and the transaction data subset.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for issuing virtual cards to client devices. Also disclosed are embodiments for provisioning a transaction terminal to process transactions with virtual cards. A zero-knowledge proof algorithm can be utilized to validate the transactions. A virtual card can be based upon a public key of a client device that is managed by a hardware security module.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to an entity matching detection system. The entity matching detection system includes a latent similarity identification machine learning model that receives one or more data records and generates a final similarity score indicative of a latent similarity between the one or more data records and a second data record. The entity matching detection system can identify lexical and semantic similarities between attribute values and can analyze and compute similarity scores for direct-linked attribute values and cross-linked attribute values extracted from different data records.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying data of interest are disclosed. The system may retrieve unstructured data from an internet data source via an alert system or RSS feed. The system may input the unstructured data into various models and scoring systems to determine whether the data is of interest. The models and scoring systems may be executed in order or in parallel. For example, the system may input the unstructured data into a Naive Bayes machine learning model, a long short-term memory (LSTM) machine learning model, a named entity recognition (NER) model, a semantic role labeling (SRL) model, a sentiment scoring algorithm, and/or a gradient boosted regression tree (GBRT) machine learning model. Based on determining that the unstructured data is of interest, a data alert may be generated and transmitted for manual review or as part of an automated decisioning process.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to a system that receives a profile values associated from new user profiles of a computer network or system. A machine learning system determines a set of existing profiles that share at least one common profile value with the new user profile. A second machine learning model determines a set of existing user entitlements associated with the set of existing profiles. The new user profile is processed by a natural language processing engine to determine a set of new user entitlements from the set of existing user entitlements. The system provides the new user with access to electronic resources of the computer network. The system tracks the new user computer network or system activities and updates the new user profile based on the set of new user entitlements and the new user activity on the computer network or system.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to an entity classification system receives informational data associated with an entity. The informational data includes sentences associated with the entity. The entity classification system utilizes a first machine learning model to determine a first contextual meaning among words of a sentence associated with the entity based on a first word embedding technique, and determines at least one category associated with the entity based at least in part on the first contextual meaning. The entity classification system utilizes a second machine learning model to determine a second contextual meaning shared by a set of sentences based on a second embedding technique, and determines a subcategory of the category associated with the entity based at least in part on the second contextual meaning. The entity classification system generates an output including the category and subcategory associated with the entity.

Abstract: In various some embodiments a cellular card includes at least one microprocessor. The cellular card is equipped with multiple devices and configured with multiple functionalities to deter use of the cellular card in unsecure or fraudulent transactions. In various embodiments, the cellular card overcomes drawbacks often associated with cards containing batteries such as battery overheating, battery short life time, battery underperformance in extreme temperatures, and other types of drawbacks associated with batteries contained in cards.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for closing pre-authorization amounts on a virtual token account. In one example, among others, a computing device is configured to generate a virtual token that is associated with a parent transaction account. An authorization request is received for a virtual token transaction, which is associated with the virtual token. A transaction request amount is compared to a virtual token balance of the virtual token. The authorization request for the virtual token transaction is authorized based on the comparison between the transaction request amount and the virtual token balance. The computing device determines not to expire the virtual token based on a comparison between the settlement variance and the virtual token balance. The settlement variance is adjusted based on the virtual token balance being within a threshold of the settlement variance.

Abstract: A proof-of-payment system may receive a payment confirmation including a transaction amount and a merchant identifier. The system may select a record from a registration repository by matching the merchant identifier to the record. The record may have a public key associated with the merchant identifier via a registration process, for example. The system may also generate a proof-of-payment payload comprising an identifier and a payment amount, and encrypt the proof-of-payment payload using the public key. The system may write the encrypted proof-of-payment payload to a blockchain maintained on a first blockchain node.

Abstract: A balance and control system may write a data file transfer confirmation from a transmitter system to a blockchain in response to the transmitter system transmitting a data file to a receiver system with the confirmation including a transmitter system address, a receiver system address, and a first hash of the data file. The system may also write a data file transfer acknowledgement from a receiver system to the blockchain with the acknowledgement including the transmitter system address, the receiver system address, and a second hash of the data file. The blockchain may execute a smart contract to compare the first hash of the data file to the second hash of the data file to identify an out-of-balance file transfer event. A monitoring device of the B&C system may read the out-of-balance file transfer event from the blockchain.

The system includes an enrolled card member customer database, an enrolled merchant database, a participating merchant offer database and a registered card processor. The registered card processor receives a record for charge for a purchase made with an enrolled merchant by an enrolled card member customer and uses the record of charge to determine whether the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit in accordance with a discount offer from the enrolled merchant. If the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit, the registered card processor provides the rebate credit to an account of the enrolled card member customer. The system provides a coupon-less way for merchants to provide incentive discounts to enrolled customers.

Abstract: A blockchain-based loyalty point system may include a blockchain API host that receives a request to transfer an amount of loyalty points from a first customer account to a second customer account. The system may validate the request by performing a cryptographic operation on the request using a public key associated with the first customer account. The system may also propagate a proposal to consensus participants for writing to a blockchain, wherein the proposal comprises the first customer account, the second customer account, and the amount of loyalty points. The system may also receive an exchange request from a loyalty wallet associated with the second customer account, validate the exchange request by performing the cryptographic operation on the exchange request using a public key, and propagate an exchange proposal to the consensus participants for writing to the blockchain.
