Abstract: A method includes receiving a message comprising a user identification code via a social media messaging channel. In addition, the method includes receiving geo-location information of the device transmitting the message. The method also includes verifying the user identification code by confirming that the geo-location information complies with stored expected geo-location information. The method also includes accessing data associated with a transaction account linked to the user identification code based on the content of the message. The method further includes transmitting a reply to the received message on the social media messaging channel.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed herein leveraging financial networks standards with mobile device data and secure processing and storage environment knowledge to authenticate a device. For instance, a party to a transaction may utilize these elements of information, not traditionally associated with wireless transactions, to achieve a lower probability of fraud and/or a higher confidence associated with the transaction.

Abstract: The system is configured to monitor and operate a hybrid reward system with a multi-channel point of sale terminal. The system may perform operations including receiving, by a computer based system and via a first connection from a point of sale terminal, reward program information and transaction information in response to a reward program instrument being presented at the point of sale terminal. A transaction authorization request associated with the reward program information may be provided by the point of sale terminal, via a second connection from the point of sale terminal, to a transaction authorization system to authorize a transaction. The transaction may be initiated by a transaction instrument. The reward program instrument is at least one of a transaction instrument and a reward program indicia.

A collaborative filtering algorithm may receive as an input a transaction history associated with the consumer, a demographic of the consumer, a consumer profile, a type of transaction account, a transaction account associated with the consumer, a period of time that the consumer has held a transaction account, a size of wallet, and/or a share of wallet. The method may further comprise generating a ranked list of items based upon consumer relevance values, transmitting a ranked list of items to a consumer, and/or re-ranking a ranked list of items based upon a merchant goal.

Abstract: Systems for issuing authentication challenges based on fraud initiation requests are provided. The system may calculate a fraud risk level based on a fraud initiating request comprising identity-based data. In response to the fraud risk level indicating a risk of fraud, the system may generate an authentication challenge based on an authentication challenge type and an authentication challenge delivery channel. The system may transmit the authentication challenge and receive back an authentication challenge response. The system may verify the authentication challenge response and generate an authentication outcome based on the verification.

Abstract: A system and method provide rewards or loyalty incentives to card member customers. The system includes an enrolled card member customer database, an enrolled merchant database, a participating merchant offer database and a registered card processor. The registered card processor receives a record for charge for a purchase made with an enrolled merchant by an enrolled card member customer and uses the record of charge to determine whether the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit in accordance with a discount offer from the enrolled merchant. If the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit, the registered card processor provides the rebate credit to an account of the enrolled card member customer. The system provides a coupon-less way for merchants to provide incentive discounts to enrolled customers.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to a dynamic card. The dynamic card transmits a first temporary card identification number to a computing device. The dynamic card is without an internal power source and is powered up by an external power source housed within the computing device. The dynamic card determines an absence of unused encrypted card identification numbers and receives a set of encrypted card identification numbers from a server. The dynamic card decrypts a second temporary card identification number from the encrypted card identification numbers and shows the second temporary card identification number on a display, replacing the first temporary card identification number. The second temporary card identification number remains shown on the display after the power from the external power source is discontinued. The second temporary card identification number can be used in a subsequent interaction with another computing device.
