The method evaluates consistency and assigns a ranking for a regulated data source based upon records having identical values and records having non-identical values for the data field in the regulated data source compared to other regulated data sources under analysis. The method further evaluates consistency and assigns a ranking for a non-regulated data source based upon records having identical values compared to other non-regulated data sources under analysis.

A SBO identification network host may comprise various modules and engines as discussed herein wherein the probability that a cardholder is a small business owner may be evaluated for establishing proper usage of differentiated transaction instruments according to their proper purposes, marketing and cross-marketing of differentiated transaction instruments, and provision of value-added services. For instance, a probable SBO may be identified, whereby the SBO identification network network may tailor the handling of the transactions, such as by denying them, whereby the transaction network may actively deter misuse of transaction products, or tailor the handling of electronically delivered advertisements, such as by targeting them, whereby the SBO identification network more properly functions according to approved parameters.

The virtual transaction account may be linked and depend from a parent transaction account, and contain similar payment functionalities as a credit card. Track 1 data and/or track 2 data may be encoded in the signal. The track 1 data and/or the track 2 data may also comprise a dynamically generated value that is generated based on the session key.

The registered card processor receives a record for charge for a purchase made with an enrolled merchant by an enrolled card member customer and uses the record of charge to determine whether the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit in accordance with a discount offer from the enrolled merchant. If the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit, the registered card processor provides the rebate credit to an account of the enrolled card member customer. The system provides a coupon-less way for merchants to provide incentive discounts to enrolled customers.

The web acceleration server transmits the pseudo authorization message to a transaction account issuer. The merchant server transmits an authorization request to the transaction account issuer. The transaction account issuer determines that the authorization request and the pseudo authorization message are associated with the same transaction. The transaction account issuer merges the authorization request and the pseudo authorization message and performs a fraud analysis. The transaction account issuer transmits an authorization response to the merchant.
