The method may comprise generating, prior to a request for the functionality, a globally unique identifier (“GUID”) encryption key, wherein the GUID comprises a unique identifier that may be associated with a transaction account customer, generating a value associated with the GUID, deriving, based on the value, a plurality of base encryption keys associated with the value, creating, a perso-script, wherein the perso-script comprises a file associated with data associated with a customer, and/or creating a proto-script, wherein the proto-script comprises the perso-script prepended by a script to rotate the plurality of base encryption keys.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a system, method, and computer readable medium (collectively, the “System”) for authenticating a mobile device configured to initiate payments is provided. The System may be configured to perform operations and/or steps comprising receiving, by the processor and in a secure environment, a secret element. The secret element may be transmitted to the processor (e.g., the issuer system) via a payment terminal. The System may further comprise comparing, by the processor and in the secured environment, the secret element to an issuer element. The issuer element may be linked with a flag that is associated with the transaction account. Moreover, the issuer element may be a data module that corresponds to be is not equal to the secret element. The System may also comprise authorizing, by the processor, a transaction initiated by the mobile device in response to the comparing being a satisfactory comparison.

Abstract: The method of processing an analysis cycle to determine interest merchants may include selecting a seed merchant relevant to a topic interest, identifying consumers that have completed a transaction with the seed merchant to generate a list of identified consumers, determining merchants visited by the identified consumers, scoring all the merchants based on network connectivity, activity, and merchant over-index, updating the seed merchant in response to the list of scored merchants relative to a scoring threshold, and scoring the list of identified consumers based on the number of distinct merchants in transaction and over-indexing. Additionally, the method may further comprise producing a list of updated interest merchants and a list of updated identified consumers, where the updated interest merchants and the updated identified consumers are relevant to the topic interest.

Abstract: A system and method provide rewards or loyalty incentives to card member customers. The system includes an enrolled card member customer database, an enrolled merchant database, a participating merchant offer database and a registered card processor. The enrolled card member customer database includes transaction accounts of card member customers enrolled in a loyalty incentive program. The enrolled merchant database includes a list of merchants participating in the loyalty incentive program. The participating merchant offer database includes loyalty incentive offers from participating merchants. The registered card processor receives a record for charge for a purchase made with an enrolled merchant by an enrolled card member customer and uses the record of charge to determine whether the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit in accordance with a discount offer from the enrolled merchant.

Abstract: A semantic tagging method may add context to a sentence in order to increase search efficiency. Regardless of an author's writing style, translating semantic concepts into tags may increase search efficiency. Automatic semantic tagging of documents may allow semantic search and reasoning. Text for semantic tagging may include an email, a website chat room, an internet forum, or a text message. Additional texts may include aggregating general consensus of an emailed topic across multiple emails, whether in the same email chain or separate emails. To increase search efficiency, the analysis of prior communications within the body of text may comprise analyzing structured contextual information to facilitate with homophora resolution. The structured contextual information may include at least one of a sender email address, one or more recipient email addresses, a subject field, a message date and time stamp, and an attachment title.

Abstract: Transaction account holders are able to attach additional data to a transaction in concert with the transaction being initiated, prior to the merchant posting the transaction. Transaction account holders do not have to wait and/or opt for an external service provider to assist with the compiling and/or attaching of data at a later point in time (e.g., after the merchant posts the transaction). Transaction account holders may upload and access electronic receipts associated with a transaction authorization almost immediately after the sale and/or authorization of the transaction.

Abstract: During token and PAN provisioning, instead of just having one token per one PAN for a single use case (PAN), between 1 and N tokens per a single PAN are provisioned. During provisioning a decision engine will supply additional details that are applied to each token. This additional information is stored in a token virtual vault that houses the mapping between PAN and token. Then, during a transaction, the decision engine chooses which token to give to the merchant to process business as usual. When the token comes into the network, additional information associated with that individual token may be identified. This information may be conveyed to a transaction account Issuer in substantially real time on and/or appended to the transactional message.

Abstract: A system and method for distributing a transaction instrument is disclosed. The method may include receiving rebate parameters from a merchant; associating the rebate parameters with a transaction instrument; distributing the transaction instrument to a merchant; and activating and/or loading the transaction instrument in response to a request from the merchant thus enabling the use of the transaction instrument. The transaction instrument may be, for example, an open rebate card. The distribution of the transaction instrument may also include sending a message, in substantially real time, causing the pre-paid transaction instrument to be funded but not activated until later through an interactive voice response system, for example. In one example, an associated transaction account may be funded and activated at the time that the merchant requests activation. Abstract: An adaptable network security system includes trust mediator agents that are coupled to each network component. Trust mediator agents continuously detect changes in the security characteristics of the network and communicate the detected security characteristics to a trust mediator. Based on the security characteristics received from the trust mediator agents, the trust mediator adjusts security safeguards to maintain an acceptable level of security. Trust mediator also uses predetermined rules in determining whether to adjust security safeguards. Despite inevitable changes in security characteristics, an acceptable level of security and efficient network operation are achieved without subjecting users of the network to over burdensome security safeguards.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a system, method, and article of manufacture for measuring the effectiveness of an advertisement. In various embodiments, the system may compare exposed data indicating that a first customer was exposed to a targeted advertisement to a first spending activity associated with the first customer. The system may further compare unexposed data indicating that a second customer was exposed to a neutral advertisement to a second spending activity associated with the second customer. Further still, the system may, in various embodiments, generate a spend report based on the comparing the exposed data to the first spending activity and the comparing the unexposed data to the second spending activity.
