Abstract: A thin display structure including a case, at least two joining sleeves disposed at the bottom of the case, and at least two support units with the transverse width similar to the thickness of the case is provided. The support units are rotatably disposed in the joining sleeves, such that the support units can rotate with respect to the case, so as to have a receiving position hiding in the case and a supporting position protruding from the case. In the receiving position, the thin display can be received in a packing case or hung on a wall surface, and in the supporting position, the thin display can stand on a plane.
Abstract: A television includes a light source, a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controller, and a control component. The PWM is coupled electrically to the light source, and is operable so as to generate a source control signal for controlling turning on and turning off of the light source. The control component is coupled to the PWM controller for controlling frequency of the source control signal outputted by the PWM controller. The control component has a plurality of control states that correspond to distinct display scanning frequencies of television standards, respectively. Setting of the control component in a selected one of the control states results in control of the frequency of the source control signal outputted by the PWM controller such that the frequency of the source control signal is not an integer multiple of the distinct display scanning frequency that corresponds to the selected one of the control states.
Abstract: A light-shielding door is configured between an upper component and a lower component of a top plate of a monitor hood. The door is capable of moving to open or to close at an opening of the top plate along a direction. The door includes a groove and the upper/lower component includes a track corresponding to the groove for allowing the door to move steadily. A rib is configured between the two components and adjacent to the door for preventing the door from derailing. The door further includes an indentation at the bottom of a handle at the front end. When the door closes, the indentation matches closely to the edge of the opening, providing perfect light shielding solution for the monitor hood.
