Abstract: A circuit for accurately converting digitized analog signals into digital signals, the circuit including a clock signal synthesizer which accepts a synchronizing signal and a frequency-indicating signal and outputs a clock signal CLK1 in accordance with the synchronizing signal and the frequency-indicating signal.
Abstract: The present invention provides a special designed circuit in which some low-cost CPUs (low-level CPUs such as 8051 or 6805) and some simple circuit elements are incorporated to achieve the object of converting analog video signals output from a VGA card into digital video signals. Such circuit is advantageous in that the cost is very low and the conversion from analog signal to digital signal can be performed accurately.
Abstract: A pivotal apparatus for a flat display panel having a front housing and a rear housing connected to the front housing includes a support unit for supporting the flat display panel on a surface; and a rotary unit fixed to the support unit and rotatably connected to an outer surface of the rear housing of the flat display panel such that the flat display panel is rotatable in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction relative to the support unit.
Abstract: An image screen automatic adjustment apparatus for a video display monitor device is provided. The apparatus includes a microprocessor for handling the operation of the monitor device and for implementing the image screen adjustments. The monitor device has a switch for enabling the image screen automatic adjustment. Push button processor circuitry is coupled between the switch and the microprocessor for signalling to the microprocessor when the switch is enabled. Image inspection circuitry is coupled to the microprocessor for outputting horizontal and vertical image signals and horizontal front-back porch signals. When the image screen automatic adjustment switch is enabled, the image inspection circuitry provides the horizontal and vertical image signals and the horizontal front-back porch signals to the microprocessor for implementing an optimization analysis processing to obtain a set of optimized control parameters including a vertical size parameter V.sub.size, a vertical position parameter V.sub.
Abstract: A control apparatus adapted to adjust the image screen display characteristics of a video monitor. The apparatus comprises a microprocessor, an encoder, and a rotary input signal processor. The microprocessor implements operation and adjustment control of the monitor. The encoder provides a rotary knob that a user of the monitor device may rotate in either direction for generating a pair of pulse signals. The rotary input signal processor is coupled between the microprocessor and the encoder for receiving the pair of pulse signals generated by the encoder and reshaping the pulses for input to the microprocessor. The microprocessor receives the reshaped pulse signals to determine the direction of rotation and the range of rotation of the encoder. The determined direction and speed of rotation are utilized as the basis for the adjustment of the image screen of the video monitor device.
