Abstract: A capturing apparatus for an electronic device is provided in the present disclosure. The capturing apparatus for an electronic device may include a lampshade, a camera and a number of flash lamps. The lampshade may include an inner ring portion and an outer ring portion arranged concentrically. An inner rim of the outer ring portion may be connected with an outer rim of the inner ring portion. The camera may be located at a side of the lampshade and corresponding to a hollow area defined by the inner ring portion and positioned at a side of the inner ring portion away from the outer ring portion. A plurality of flash lamps may be disposed at a side of the lampshade close to the camera around a periphery of the camera and corresponding to the outer ring portion.

Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for controlling data such as content and/or application data transmitted to one or more user devices. One method can comprise receiving a request for first content and generating, in response to the request for the first content, a first transport stream comprising the first content and application data relating to a first application. At least a portion of the first transport stream is transmitted to a recipient device. An interruption in the transmission of the first transport stream is detected and a determination is made that only a first portion of the application data has been transmitted to the recipient device. A second transport stream including second content and a second portion of the application data is generated and transmitted.

The device has hardware including storage with at least one first class of storage and at least one second class of storage, the first class of storage being faster than the second class of storage. Abstract: Systems and methods relating to fragmenting content based on metadata are disclosed. In one embodiment, metadata is obtained from data that is accessible from an interface. A content descriptor, based on at least a portion of the metadata, may be utilized to determine fragment size. The content descriptor value may be derived from multiple forms of metadata, such as for example, genre, sub-genre, presence of live media, and combinations thereof. The fragments may be either virtual or physically discrete segments or files. In one aspect, the value may be the sole basis for determining the fragment lengths. In another aspect of the embodiment, the division of the content is conducted such that each resultant fragment comprises a single frame type.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for providing job status information for an IoT device are disclosed. The method providing job status information includes receiving location information of an IoT device; receiving job assignment information for the IoT device; evaluating the location information to determine the job status for the IoT device based on a specified condition; and sharing the job status information for the IoT device. The system for providing job status information includes an IoT device, a job management platform (JMP) and a user interface, wherein the JMP further comprises a storage database for receiving location information of the IoT device and job assignment information for the IoT device; and an analytics engine for evaluating the location information to determine the job status for the IoT device based on a specified condition; and wherein the JMP shares the job status information for the IoT device.
