  • Patent number: 11140076
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for control of a plurality of forwarding switches using a network controller. The network controller executes a routing configuration application that analyzes interconnections between the forwarding switches to identify a topology of the network, determine label switched paths (LSPs) between the forwarding switches, and transmits the next hop routes to the forwarding switches. The forwarding switches use the next hop routes to route packets through the network according to a multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) protocol. Each LSP includes one or more next hop routes defining a forwarding address associated with one forwarding switch to an adjacent forwarding switch.

  • Patent number: 11139644
Abstract: A passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly for a fixture, such as can be affixed to a utility or communications monopole can include a first bracket and a second bracket respectively defining a first through hole and a second through hole. In some examples, a mounting plate supports an antenna or a radio. A fastener can extend through the first through hole and the second through hole, for instance to couple the first bracket with the second bracket to attach the mounting assembly to a fixture. The passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly can include a bushing that can be inserted into a through hole, and the bushing can physically and electrically isolate the fastener from one or more of the brackets. The isolation of the bushing helps inhibit the passive-intermodulation of the mounting assembly when the fastener extends, via the first bushing, through at least one of the through holes.

  • Patent number: 11139902
Abstract: An outdoor satellite receiving unit (ODU) receives several independent satellite signals, selects two signals with a switch matrix, downconverts the two signals to a bandstacked signal with a high and a low band signal, and outputs the bandstacked signal on the same cable to receiver units. Several satellite signals can be selected in groups of two or more and output to independent receiver units. Signal selecting is performed at the received radio frequency (RF) and bandstacking is performed with a single downconversion step to an intermediate frequency (IF). Channel stacking on the same cable of more than two channels from several satellites can be achieved by using frequency agile downconverters and bandpass filters prior to combining at the IF output. A slow transitioning switch minimizes signal disturbances when switching and maintains input impedance at a constant value.

  • Patent number: 11140117
Abstract: A wireless communication device transfer a high-priority message with a high-priority Quality-of-Service (QoS). Device circuitry receives a request for the high-priority message, and in response, signals a radio to wirelessly attach to a wireless network using a high-priority-attachment Establishment Cause. The circuitry generates a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message that includes the high-priority message and that indicates the high-priority-attachment Establishment Cause. The radio wirelessly attaches to the wireless network using the high-priority-attachment Establishment Cause. The radio wirelessly transfers the SIP message that indicates the high-priority-attachment Establishment Cause and that includes the high-priority message to the wireless network. The wireless network transfers the SIP message to a message network using the high-priority QoS responsive to the high-priority-attachment Establishment Cause used for wireless attachment.

  • Patent number: 11140618
Abstract: A wireless access node receives an update from a User Equipment (UE) indicating the UE has physically entered a geographic area and transfers the update to a wireless network core. In response, the core transfers a reattach instruction for the UE and the DNN to the wireless access node. The wireless access node transfers the reattach instruction for the DNN to the UE and receives a reattachment request for the DNN from the UE. The wireless access node transfers the reattachment request to the core. The core selects a Session Management Function (SMF) for the UE and the DNN. The selected SMF controls a User Plane Function (UPF) for the DNN and the UE. The wireless access node exchanges user data for the DNN with the UE and exchanges the user data for the DNN with the UPF.

  • Patent number: 11140038
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing network devices include performing clustering operations for network devices based on attributes of the network devices. By comparing the results of subsequent clustering operations, changes in network device attributes can be readily identified and any network devices for which attributes have changed may be subject to further investigation or remedial action (e.g., blocking traffic to/from the network device). Clustering may also be used to conduct an inventory of network devices by identifying groups of network devices that have similar attributes.
