Abstract: The present disclosure provides in some embodiments a method for determining a CSI resource type, a network side device and a terminal. The method for determining the CSI resource type is applied to the terminal, and includes: receiving an MAC CE for activating/deactivating CSI resource sets; and determining types of the CSI resource sets indicated in the MAC CE, the types of the CSI resource sets including a first type for the measurement of a semi-persistent PUCCH and a second type for the measurement of a semi-persistent PUSCH.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for an orchestrator device associated with a scrubbing environment of a telecommunications network that receives one or more announced routing protocol advertisements from a customer device under an attack. In response to receiving the announcement, the orchestrator may configure one or more scrubbing devices of the network to begin providing the scrubbing service to packets matching the received routing announcement. A scrubbing service state for the customer may also be obtained or determined by the orchestrator. With the received route announcement and the customer profile and state information, the orchestrator may provide instructions to configure the scrubbing devices of the network based on the received information to dynamically automate scrubbing techniques without the need for a network administrator to manually configure the scrubbing environment or devices.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a sidelink operation method and a terminal. The method includes: acquiring sidelink configuration information, wherein the sidelink configuration information includes at least one of feedback configuration information and measurement configuration information; performing at least one of a measurement operation and a feedback operation on sidelink according to the sidelink configuration information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for configuring telecommunications networks include obtaining network data flow information for a telecommunications network that includes attributes of multiple routes of data transmission through the telecommunications network. Utilizing at least one processing device, a filtering criteria is applied to the network data flow information to identify a subset of the routes having a shared attribute to generate filtered data. The filtered data is then used to generate a diagrammatic representation of the network flows and/or processed to automatically generate reconfiguration messages to improve network traffic distribution and flow.

Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for serving content over a network. In one implementation, a method of serving content is provided. The method includes maintaining a first address record associated with serving a resource and a second address record associated with serving the same resource. The first address record is further associated with a first protocol for a first device capable of serving the resource. Similarly, the second address record is associated with a second protocol, different from the first protocol, for a second device, distinct from the first device, capable of serving the resource. The method further includes providing, in response to at least one resolution request for the resource, the first address record and the second address record.

Abstract: A system for mobile communication device upgrade delivery and configuration. The system comprises a processor, a non-transitory memory, and a business process management application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the application receives a message from a device upgrade client application executing on a mobile communication device requesting an upgrade mobile communication device, accesses data associated with the mobile communication device requesting the upgrade device stored in an interaction history data store, and analyzes the data accessed from the interaction history data store. The business process management application further, based on the analysis of the data and based on the model of upgrade device, recommends pick-up of the upgrade device in a retail store, identifies a retail store, and sends a recommendation message to the device upgrade client application that the upgrade mobile communication device be picked up at the retail store.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device used for wireless communication in a base station and a User Equipment (UE). The UE receives a first radio signal, wherein the first radio signal is transmitted within a first time unit, a first bit block is used for generating the first radio signal, and the first radio signal comprises G multicarrier symbols. As for any one given multicarrier symbol of the G multicarrier symbols, the multi-antenna related receiving for the given multicarrier symbol is related to the relative position of a time-domain resource occupied by the given multicarrier symbol with respect to a first time point in time domain. The first time point is one time point within the first time unit. The present disclosure increases the dynamic of the multi-antenna related receiving.

Abstract: A method for acquiring and reporting synchronization information of the at least one neighboring cell, a base station, a user equipment and a medium are provided, wherein the method for acquiring synchronization information of at least one neighboring cell: transmitting an RRC signaling to a UE to request the UE to report the synchronization information of the at least one neighboring cell, wherein the RRC signaling indicates what synchronization information of the at least one neighboring cell needs to be reported by the UE; and receiving the synchronization information of the at least one neighboring cell from the UE by an RRC signaling. The base station may acquire the synchronization information of the at least one neighboring cell, and the synchronization information is used in a subsequent measurement configuration process of other UEs, which reduces the measurement overhead.

One or more portions of summarized or missed content can be determined based on the natural language query, and transmitted to a user device.

Abstract: A network includes a first tier of servers, a second tier of servers and a third tier of servers. The first tier of servers comprises a plurality of primary servers capable of responding to requests. The plurality of primary servers includes at least one dynamic server having a load share characteristic that is dynamically altered during a first period in time and at least one static server having a constant load share characteristic during the first period in time. The second tier of servers includes at least two first layer overflow servers. Each of the first layer overflow servers is configured to provide response duties in the event that one or more of the primary servers is unavailable or overloaded. The third tier of servers comprising at least two second layer overflow servers.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for estimating a Citizens Broadband Radio Service Device's (CBSD's) coverage area using user equipment (UE) timing advance and/or power headroom information and allocating resources based on the estimate. In an exemplary method embodiment a Spectrum Access System: (i) receives, from a CBSD, user equipment (UE) information including at least one of timing advance or power headroom information for one or more UEs in communication with the CBSD; (ii) estimates, based on the received first UE information, a first CBSD coverage area; and (iii) makes a first resource allocation to the CBSD based on the estimated CBSD coverage area, the first resource allocation including an allocation of at least one of a frequency bandwidth allocation or transmission power allocation to the CBSD.

Abstract: The present invention relates to communications methods and apparatus for detecting and/or mitigating split brain occurrences in high availability systems. A split brain condition being a condition wherein both a standby processing node and another processing node of a cluster of processing nodes included in a high availability system are both operating at the same time in an active mode of operation. An exemplary method embodiment of operating a high availability system including a plurality of processing nodes includes the steps of determining at a standby processing node that a failure condition exists, said standby processing node being one of the cluster of processing nodes; switching the standby processing node from a standby mode of operation to an active mode of operation in response to determining that a failure condition exists; and determining whether the high availability system is experiencing a split brain condition.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to providing simultaneous digital and analog services in optical fiber-based distributed radio frequency (RF) antenna systems (DASs), and related components and methods. A multiplex switch unit associated with a head-end unit of a DAS can be configured to receive a plurality of analog and digital downlink signals from one or more sources, such as a service matrix unit, and to assign each downlink signal to be transmitted to one or more remote units of the DAS. In one example, when two or more downlink signals are assigned to be transmitted to the same remote unit, a wave division multiplexer/demultiplexer associated with the multiplex switch unit can be configured to wave division multiplex the component downlink signals into a combined downlink signal for remote side transmission and to demultiplex received combined uplink signals into their component uplink signals for head-end side transmission.

Authorized access points can detect the presence of rogue access points by determining signal strengths associated with other access points. A detected variance from an expected signal strength can indicate a presence of a rogue access point.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improved processing audio in a video stream. A system may split audio in a frame of video content into multiple bands based on their audio levels. The system may then dynamically compress and dynamically normalize the audio level in each band. When dynamically compressing the bands, the system may determine, based on stored information, what audio level range is acceptable for an end user and may smooth and maintain the ranges of the audio to be within the acceptable range. The system may include the dynamically normalized and dynamically compressed frames as a second audio track in the video content. A computing device receiving the video content may select the second audio track during playback. If an end user selects the second audio track, the video is delivered with the modified sound of the second audio track.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed to operate an aircraft with modified (e.g., improved) flight performance characteristics, such as increased or maximized aircraft takeoff weight and/or longer allowable mission time for the aircraft. In one example, the aircraft may be enabled to operate with increased aircraft engine performance (e.g., such as engine power) without increasing engine temperature above the maximum allowable operating temperature limits for the engine. In a further example, available engine power may be determined during a pre-flight sequence, and utilized by an aircraft without exceeding published or manufacturer specified engine temperature limits.

Abstract: A method includes executing a Virtual Network Function (VNF) that includes a plurality of VNF components supported by a plurality of virtual machines, the virtual machines supported by a set of physical machines, the plurality of VNF components comprising a first group of VNF components and a second group of VNF components that is different than the first group, both the first group and the second group being independently scalable. The method further includes scaling the first group of VNF components in response to a change in demand for services associated with the first group.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for generating secondary content scheduling and dynamic insertion for users of a managed content distribution network, such as a cable, satellite, of HFCu network. In one embodiment, the secondary content comprises advertising content which is directly related or tied to demographics, psychographics, and/or other metrics of applicability to one or more users of the content distribution network. Individual insertion opportunities are identified (either in advance or dynamically), and relevant or targeted secondary content is dynamically “switched in” for delivery to the one or more users via interaction between a local or client application (e.g., operative on the user's set top box or personal electronic device) and a switched digital video entity of the network, and subsequently switched out if no longer required, thereby conserving network bandwidth and/or other resources.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to apparatuses and methods for associating a first account with a second account, the first account being hosted by a first server, the second account being hosted by a second server, including but not limited to, authenticating, by the first server, first login credentials associated with the first account, wherein the first login credentials are received from a user device, receiving, by the first server from the user device, second login credentials associated with the second account, sending, by the first server, the second login credentials to the second server for authentication, in response to determining that the second login credentials are authenticated by the second server, associating, by the first server, the first account with the second account, and connecting, by the first server to the second server, to allow the user device to access services commensurate with the second account without prompting the user device for the second login credentials.
