Abstract: Systems and methods for creating non-orthogonal dimensionality between signals are disclosed. Signals are received from at least one electronic device. An adjustment of a parameter of a received signal of a first device of the at least one of the electronic device that would result in an adjusted signal that is not orthogonal but differentiates the signal from at least one other signal of the received signals is determined. An instruction is communicated to the first device to implement the adjustment of the parameter.
Abstract: A mobile communications device includes a display, one or more sources comprising at least one microphone and at least one camera, a wireless communications module, a main processor, and a secured processor inaccessible by the main processor. A housing supports components of the device and is configured for hand-held manipulation. A shutter is supported by the housing, and comprises a lens shutter situated within the housing and configured to obscure a lens of the at least one camera when activated. A user actuatable switch is coupled to at least the one or more sources, the main processor, the secured processor, and the shutter. The switch is configured to selectively activate and deactivate the lens shutter. The switch is also configured to divert signals produced by the sources away from the main processor when activated, and couple signals produced by the sources to the main processor when deactivated.
Abstract: A wireless communication network implements a wireless network slice that has a slice configuration. A slice controller signals a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Management and Orchestration (MANO) to implement a Network Service Descriptor (NSD) for the slice based on the slice configuration. The NFV MANO signals an NFV Infrastructure (NFVI) to execute Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) for the slice based on the NSD. The NFVI executes the VNFs, and the VNFs handle user data for wireless user devices that use the slice. The VNFs generate and transfer slice data responsive to handling the user data. The wireless user devices generate and transfer slice data responsive to using the slice. Wireless access points generate and transfer slice data responsive to serving the user devices. A distributed ledger receives the slice data, forms a consensus for the slice data, and stores the slice data in a distributed ledger format.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to provisioning end devices, such as wireless end devices. In one aspect, a wireless end device may be provisioned with a backend system without requiring a user to enter information to connect the wireless end device to a local wireless network. Moreover, the wireless end device may be provisioned with a single user action. In one example, the single action may be a single click on an activation portal. The single action may trigger the backend system to detect the wireless end device with the help of one or more gateways at one or more premises, and to associate the wireless end device with a user account. The backend system may also facilitate configuring the wireless end device to connect to the proper or desired network at a premises.
Abstract: A method includes generating, via a processor, multiple initial vectors, each including N elements. A code map is applied to each of the initial vectors, to produce an associated spreading code vector. Each of the spreading code vectors includes M elements, where M?N. Using the spreading code vectors, spread signals are produced based on a complex baseband signals. The spread signals are stored in a memory operably coupled to the processor. The first and second spread signals are split into respective sets of spread signals, each uniquely associated with one of multiple transmit antennas. The first and second sets of spread signals are transmitted to respective signal receivers for detection of associated complex baseband signals based on the associated spreading code vectors.
Abstract: Wireless devices may receive channel state information (CSI) measurement resources for a plurality of cells, including cells of a first transmission point and cells of a second transmission point. The wireless device may measure CSI for each cell, and may quantize the measured CSI jointly across the cells. The wireless device may send the jointly quantized CSI to a base station, and the jointly quantized CSI may be used in communications via the first transmission point and the second transmission point.

Abstract: An information transmission method for reducing Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal are provided, to solve the technical problem that it is difficult for a transmitting terminal to reliably transmit side information to a receiving terminal by using conventional methods for reducing PAPR. The method includes: scrambling an initial data block according to a predetermined scrambling mode to obtain a scrambled target data block; determining a scrambling mode index corresponding to the predetermined scrambling mode according to a predetermined relation between scrambling mode indexes and scrambling modes; generating side information carrying the determined scrambling mode index based on the scrambling mode index; and transmitting the side information and the target data block to a receiving terminal.
