Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for predicting indoor three-dimensional space signal field strength by an outdoor-to-indoor propagation model, which comprises the steps of: establishing a three-dimensional space scene model from a transmitting base station to a target building; predicting space field strength of an outer envelope of the target building according to an extended COST-231-Walfisch-Ikegami propagation model; generating, on the outer envelope of the target building, a series of out-door-to-indoor virtual rays in accordance with a certain resolution; simulating a propagation procedure of the virtual rays using a ray tracing propagation model algorithm, to predict three-dimensional space signal field strength in the target building.

Abstract: An exhaled breath condensate collection device (10) is described. The device includes a condensation chamber (12) having an inlet and an outlet and arranged such that breath exhaled from the lungs of a user flows through the condensation chamber from the inlet to the outlet; at least one cooling element (16); and a frame (18) supporting the condensation chamber and the at least one cooling element. The frame (18) is movable between a first configuration in which the at least one cooling element is operable to cool the condensation chamber so as to promote the formation of breath condensate in the condensation chamber, and a second configuration in which the cooling element is displaced from the condensation chamber so as to encourage condensate to flow into a collection region in fluid communication with the condensation chamber. Abstract: A vehicle suspension comprises an assembly of a hub carrier and a support arm, the support arm being attached to the hub carrier at two points spaced from each other in the direction of travel and extending inwardly therefrom to a support arm attachment point for fixing to a chassis, and a trailing link extending from the assembly in a direction transverse to that of the support arm, toward a trailing link attachment point for fixing to the chassis. The trailing link preferably extends from the assembly in a forward direction, and is preferably connected directly to the hub carrier. A strut can extend upwardly toward an attachment point for fixing to a chassis, to provide a spring and damper. The support arm can comprise a pair of arms extending divergently from the attachment point to each of the two points. A toe control link extends generally parallel to but spaced from the rear arm, linking the hub carrier to the chassis to provide geometry control under high load conditions.

Abstract: A combined light and loudspeaker driver device comprising a housing supporting a loudspeaker driver, a heat removal element, electronic components and a light source. The heat removal element includes a column extending along a central longitudinal axis to a base of the housing, to meet a heat sink formed around the central longitudinal axis to the rear of the housing. The light source provides task lighting and is a heat source. It is mounted on a front end of the column distal from the heat sink at the base of the housing, to optimize conduction of heat away from the light source. The housing is generally cup shaped and has side walls. The interior of the side walls is parallel with the central longitudinal axis of the housing over the majority of the rearward depth thereof resulting in a large void behind the loudspeaker diaphragm, leading to improved sound.

A telescoping property between the lower part of the container and the upper part of the container is used in the invention, a user downwardly presses the upper part of the container, or upwardly presses the lower part of the container, or performs the two actions at the same time, so as to achieve an object of changing a capacity of the container.

Abstract: Described herein is a baby carrier and insert therein. In particular, a multi functional baby carrier that transitions seamlessly from one mode to another to allow the carrying of a child from newborn baby through to a toddler wherein the main body forms an adjustable seat width position to address ergonomic concerns when in a particular carrying mode. The main body portion also comprises a hands through pouch configured to allow a wearer to pass their hands through for additional support when carrying the child. The insert includes an adjustable length back support and is configured to engage with the main body of a multi functional baby carrier without requirement of separate fasteners to retain the insert within the main body of the multi functional baby carrier.

Abstract: A method and device for producing a three-dimensional component by in-bath additive manufacturing comprising a bath (12) of a first fluid component and a nozzle (15) for dispensing a second fluid component. In use the nozzle is moved in the bath, and the fluid components react to produce said component. The second fluid component may be varied to change the visual and/or physical properties of the component. A computer (24) contains a digital record to control respective position of the nozzle and the bath.

Abstract: A multi-fluid drilling system (10) drilling is disclosed for drilling a hole or well (11). The system (10) is coupled to a dual wall drill string (12). The drill string (12) is configured to enable separate flow of a first fluid (14) and a second fluid (16). The system (10) has a hammer (22) and a downhole motor (24). Both the hammer (22) and the motor (24) are supported by and are coupled to the drill string (12). The motor (24) is uphole of the hammer (22). The hammer (22) is arranged so that when supported by the drill string (12) the first fluid (14) when flowing through the drill string (12) is able to flow to and power the hammer (22). As the motor (24) is disposed between the hammer (22) and the drill string (2) the first fluid (14) is also able to flow through the motor (24). To this end the motor (24) has a channel (25) to enable the first fluid to flow from the drill sting (12) to the hammer (22). The channel (25) acts as a part of a flow path or conduit for the first fluid (14).

Abstract: A picture frame is constructed using a system and method wherein a pair of cooperating profile extrusion lengths are cut to size to form a frame to accommodate a piece of artwork. A continuous spacer is provided to be locatable between a cover sheet and backing sheet. The profile lengths are fastened together at the edges of the frame, thereby compressing the spacer between the cover sheet and backing sheet. As such an isolated volume is created that can be evacuated of oxygen for preservation of the artwork.
