Abstract: Evaluating user experience for an application includes collecting, for each of a plurality of sessions of the application, a list of user event data items experienced during that session. The list of user event data items includes any of a device utilization quantifier, user action-response time pairs, and an application fault indicator. For each session, a value is assigned to each collected user event data item, and a session score is derived based on those assigned values. A user experience score is derived based upon a plurality of the derived session scores. The user experience score is reported.

Abstract: Based on wireless communication between a mobile device and at least one beacon, a present physical location of a mobile device can be identified. Responsive to determining that the mobile device is located at a particular physical location, at least a first message can be communicated to the mobile device. The first message can specify at least one application to be disabled while the mobile device is present at the physical location. Responsive to not receiving from the mobile device a response to the first message indicating that the at least one application is disabled, the mobile device can be denied to establish presence on a network maintained for the physical location.
Abstract: A chemical mechanical polishing pad for polishing a semiconductor substrate is provided containing a polishing layer that comprises a polyurethane reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising (i) one or more diisocyanate, polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate prepolymer, (ii) from 40 to 85 wt. % based on the total weight of (i) and (ii) of one or more blocked diisocyanate, polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate prepolymer which contains a blocking agent and has a deblocking temperature of from 80 to 160° C., and (iii) one or more aromatic diamine curative. The reaction mixture has a gel time at 80° C. and a pressure of 101 kPa of from 2 to 15 minutes; the polyurethane reaction product has a residual blocking agent content of 2 wt. % or less; and the polishing layer exhibits a density of from 0.6 to 1.2 g/cm3.

Abstract: Interference-based augmented reality hosting platforms are presented. Hosting platforms can include networking nodes capable of analyzing a digital representation of scene to derive interference among elements of the scene. The hosting platform utilizes the interference to adjust the presence of augmented reality objects within an augmented reality experience. Elements of a scene can constructively interfere, enhancing presence of augmented reality objects; or destructively interfere, suppressing presence of augmented reality objects.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for handing off a user conversation between computer-implemented agents. One of the methods includes receiving, by a computer-implemented agent specific to a user device, a digital representation of speech encoding an utterance, determining, by the computer-implemented agent, that the utterance specifies a requirement to establish a communication with another computer-implemented agent, and establishing, by the computer-implemented agent, a communication between the other computer-implemented agent and the user device.

Abstract: The techniques described herein convert platform-specific scene files produced by multiple different design platforms into platform-agnostic scene files configured in an intermediate format. The intermediate format comprises a human-readable format that provides written descriptions of content in a three-dimensional scene template. The platform-agnostic scene files can be provided to any one of multiple different consumption platforms so the data in the intermediate format can be interpreted and a three-dimensional scene template can be rebuilt. Once rebuilt, the three-dimensional scene template provides a starting point for a user to create a three-dimensional scene for an experience (e.g., the user can continue to add content to create and customize a scene for a particular purpose).

Abstract: An automated network topology discovery system via smart power cords and system facility device management that uses smart power cords with integrated sensors and wireless interfaces to discover the network topology and manage devices in a facility. Locations of smart power cords may be automatically discovered using either cooperative or non-cooperative localization based on measurement of signal characteristics such as RSSI. Each cord may monitor power delivered to device(s), and measure variables including temperature, humidity, pressure. It may also act as a gateway to other devices in the vicinity. A central control station may manage the devices in the facility via the smart power cords. Data collected from smart power cords may be analyzed to provide alerts and management reports. Alerts may include attempted theft when a device is unplugged, environmental conditions or a staff member requesting assistance via an emergency alert forwarded through a smart power cord.

Abstract: A security system comprises an access control node broadcasting a beacon including a time stamp and user devices generating replies to the beacon that are based on credential information for the user of the user device and the time stamp. The system relies on the users' wireless-capable mobile computing devices such as smartphones, tablets, or wireless fobs. A credential management system proves a system for the authentication of users and then issues security tokens as credential information to the users' mobile computing devices. These tokens are presented wirelessly by the devices to the security system's access control nodes, for example, where the access control nodes then decide whether to grant or deny access.
Abstract: Described herein are various technologies pertaining to facilitating digital rights management of patient healthcare records. A computing system executing an electronic health records application (EHR) receives an attribute of a healthcare worker and a patient identifier from a client computing device. The computing system retrieves a computer-readable file for the patient, the computer-readable file comprising a plurality of file records and a file access portion. A file record in the plurality of file records comprises a data portion and an access portion. The computing system transmits data in the data portion to the client computing device only when both the file access portion of the computer-readable file and the access portion of the file record include the attribute of the healthcare worker.

Abstract: A portable drinking water filter system, such as a pitcher, having a sleeve and a floatable body including a filter opening configured to receive a water filter, the floatable body having a seal extending outward from an outer surface of the floatable body. The floatable body is disposed in a sleeve cavity such that a body seal engages the sidewall and restricts water from passing between the floatable body and the sidewall. The seal is configured to create friction with the sidewall, wherein the friction created when the floatable body rises in the sleeve is different than when the floatable body lowers in the sleeve. The friction created when the floatable body rises in the sleeve is greater than when the floatable body lowers in the sleeve, allowing the floatable body to auto-retract toward a cavity base without burping.
