Abstract: An LED retrofit lamp includes a centering ring with alignment features, which define: a mounting position of the lamp within a vehicle reflector, a reference axis, a reference direction along the reference axis from a base to a top end of the lamp, and a tolerance box intersecting the reference axis and extending axially along the reference direction from a tolerance box base-side end to a tolerance box top-side end. The lamp also includes an arrangement that emits light transversal to the reference axis and has a light-emitting area that extends axially from an LED base-side end to an LED top-side end. The LED base-side end has an axial distance of at least 0.1 mm from the tolerance box base-side end in the reference direction, and the LED top-side end has an axial distance of at most 1.5 mm from the tolerance box top-side end in the reference direction.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments for a vehicle listing generation and optimization system. An embodiment operates by receiving a request to generate a vehicle listing to sell a vehicle on a website. A plurality of vehicle listings similar to the vehicle to be sold are determined, the plurality of vehicle listings including a plurality of features providing information about a respective vehicle featured in the vehicle listing and a performance metric indicating an effectiveness of a respective listing. A first cluster of listings from the plurality of vehicle listings similar to the vehicle are identified based on based on performing artificial intelligence clustering with respect to the metric. Common features amongst a subset of the first cluster of listings are identified. A user interface of a sales template for selling the vehicle associated with the request via the website is generated, wherein the sales template includes the common identified features.

Abstract: A lock assembly is disclosed to lock a moveable structure to a fixed structure. The lock assembly includes an electric actuator operable to move a locking lug between first and second axial positions to correspond with a locked and unlocked configuration of the lock assembly. A resilient member can couple the locking lug to the electric actuator and drive the locking lug between the first and second positions.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide systems, methods, and techniques for managing transaction cards. User registration processes, order processes, and failure detection processes for a secure universal shopping cart are provided. Systems and methods may acquire identifiers. Systems and methods may also identify items associated with the identifiers. In addition, systems and methods may acquire a list of merchants that offer each item. Systems and methods may further determine, for each identifier, merchants based on user preferences. Even further, systems and methods may generate a payment token for each item. Systems and methods may then transmit the payment token for each item to its respective merchant.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of fabricating a transistor includes depositing a first epitaxial layer; depositing a second epitaxial layer on the first epitaxial layer; forming a single termination trench in the second epitaxial layer; and filling the termination trench with a dielectric. A depth of the termination trench is greater than 10 microns. In another aspect, a transistor includes a first epitaxial layer; a second epitaxial layer on the first epitaxial layer; and a single termination trench in the second epitaxial layer. The termination trench is greater than 10 microns and is filled with a dielectric.

Abstract: A combination outdoor ventless fireplace and brick oven system includes a main body with a framework assembly. A fireplace firebox is formed in the framework assembly. An oven firebox is formed in the framework assembly and suspended above the fireplace firebox. A chimney flue is disposed above the oven firebox in the framework assembly. The framework assembly is covered by a refractory heat resistant mortar. The fireplace firebox has an aperture. The system also has a gas line disposed in the framework assembly below the aperture. The gas line is configured to connect the aperture with a gaseous fuel source. A burner pan may be disposed in the aperture.

Abstract: Air-core reactors for use with power transmission systems are disclosed. An example air-core reactor may include a main coil and an auxiliary coil. The main coil may include a first solenoid having a first diameter and a second solenoid having a second diameter, wherein the first diameter and the second diameter are different. The auxiliary coil may include a third solenoid. The first solenoid and the second solenoid may be arranged concentrically. The auxiliary coil may also be magnetically coupled to the main coil, and the auxiliary coil may be arranged concentric to the main coil.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for translating a source code snippet from a first programming language to a second programming language independently of sequence-to-sequence decoding. In various implementations, the source code snippet written in the first programming language may be processed using an encoder portion of a transformer network to generate an embedding of the source code snippet. The embedding of the source code snippet may be processed using an all-pair attention layer to generate an attended embedding of the source code snippet. The attended embedding of the source code snippet may be processed using an output layer to generate, by way of a single transformation of the attended embedding of the source code snippet, data indicative of a translation of the source code snippet in the second programming language.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for communications across privilege domains within a central processing unit (“CPU”) core. The CPU core can store a kernel context associated with an operating system within the CPU. An application can request access to the CPU, and the CPU can load a user context associated with the application into the CPU. The CPU can execute instructions from the application while both the kernel context and the user context persist in the CPU. Because both contexts are stored on the CPU, the CPU can switch contexts without loading or unloading context data from memory.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product is provided to select at least one channel based on one or more channel characteristics and initiate a first transmission to a first multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO)-capable portable wireless device, and further initiate a second transmission to a second multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO)-capable portable wireless device, such that at least a portion of the first transmission occurs simultaneously with at least a portion of the second transmission and both occur via a first wireless protocol; and is further configured to initiate a third transmission to a third multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO)-capable portable wireless device via a second wireless protocol including a 802.11n protocol, where the first wireless protocol includes another 802.11 protocol other than the 802.11n protocol.

Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive image data from a camera, generate a depth map from the image data, detect an object in the image data, apply a bounding box circumscribing the object to the depth map, mask the depth map by setting depth values for pixels in the bounding box in the depth map to a depth value of a closest pixel in the bounding box, and determine a distance to the object based on the masked depth map. The closest pixel is closest to the camera of the pixels in the bounding box.

Abstract: A system includes a memory storing computer-readable instructions and at least one processor to execute the instructions to receive from a client computing device a first unique identifier that was obtained by scanning a near field communication (NFC) tag associated with an item, receive from the client computing device a second unique identifier that was obtained by scanning a quick response (QR) code using an imaging device, compare the first unique identifier with the second unique identifier, and associate the item with a particular user account when the first unique identifier matches the second unique identifier.

Abstract: Embodiments include a prosthetic thumb device that includes a track configured to attach to a prosthetic socket, a carriage, and a locking mechanism. The carriage can include a first component that couples to the track such that the carriage is operable to move along the track, and a second component that is configured to couple with a prosthetic digit and operable to rotate with respect to the first component. The locking mechanism can be coupled to the carriage and configured such that, in a first state, it prevents the carriage from moving along the track in a first direction and, in a second state, it allows the carriage to move along the track in the first direction. Embodiments can also include the track having a curved profile, and the carriage is operable to move along the curved profile of the track.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing remotely proctored at-home health testing and diagnostics are provided herein. In particular, systems and methods for improving proctor performance by increasing accuracy and reducing proctor time are disclosed. In some embodiments, images and/or video of a patient may be enhanced to aid the proctor. In some embodiments, proctor performance may be evaluated. In some embodiments, proctor time per patient may be reduced by automating one or more steps in a proctored testing process.

Abstract: A cashdrawer exoskeleton system is disclosed. The system includes a modular base piece with an integrated fastener configured to facilitate a coupling to a cash drawer. An aperture is formed through the top surface of the modular base piece and leads to an area where the cash drawer is positioned when the modular base piece is coupled to the cash drawer utilizing the integrated fastener. At least one spacer is then configured to facilitate creation of a gap between the modular base piece and the cash drawer when the modular base piece is coupled to the cash drawer utilizing the integrated fastener.
