  • Patent number: 11887267
Abstract: A method includes receiving an image of a real environment captured using a camera worn by a user, the image comprising a hand of the user and determining a pose of the hand based on the image. Based on a three-dimensional model of the hand having the determined pose, generating a two-dimensional surface representing the hand as viewed from a first viewpoint of the user and positioning the two-dimensional surface representing the hand and one or more virtual-object representations in a three-dimensional space. The method further includes determining that a portion of the two-dimensional surface representing the hand is visible from a second viewpoint in the three-dimensional space, and generating an output image, wherein a set of image pixels of the output image corresponding to the portion of the two-dimensional surface that is visible is configured to cause a display to tur off a set of corresponding display pixels.

  • Patent number: 11884311
Abstract: A system and method obtain first image data of a route at a location of interest from a first optical sensor disposed onboard a vehicle system moving along the route. The first image data depicts the route at the location of interest prior to passage of the vehicle system over the route at the location of interest. Second image data of the route at the location of interest is obtained from a second optical sensor disposed onboard the vehicle system. The second image data depicts the route at the location of interest after passage of the vehicle system over the route at the location of interest. A determination is made as to whether a change in the route has occurred at the location of interest by comparing the first image data with the second image data.

  • Patent number: 11883651
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a lead that includes metallic traces sandwiched between layers of polymers to form a ribbon (e.g., similar to a flex circuit). In an illustrative example, areas on both ends of the traces may be exposed, forming stimulation electrodes on one end and electrical contacts on the other. The ribbon may be formed such that it fits down a small diameter needle. When the needle is removed, the formed ribbon may relax and engage the tissue providing a means of retention. The lead may advantageously: (1) be minimally invasive to implant, (2) be inexpensive, (3) stay in place a temporary/trial medical procedure setting, and (4) be easy to remove.

  • Patent number: 11887796
Abstract: Relays having internal connections on both sides of their switches may be used in conjunction with a connector that integrates both the normal relay switch control lines with the sensing conductors of a control module for a battery module of an energy storage device. In this manner, sensing conductors may be routed along with the switch control lines for the relay instead of separately as described above. This integration reduces the complexity and cost associated with the energy storage device, because it reduces the number of separately routed lines and also eliminates the external connections for at least some of the sensing conductors.

  • Patent number: 11885460
Abstract: A system and method for securing a cable with decorative lights to an existing cable is disclosed. An outdoor lighting clip which comprises a curve and annular portion for securing two cables in proximity to each other. In use, the annular portion has a slot which may be secured over a first cable such that the clip hangs from the first cable. A second cable may then be hung on the curve of the clip, such that the first cable and second cable remain in proximity to each other. This allows the second cable to have lighting decorations hanging without sagging in the middle of cable and without the cable needing to be in tension between two anchor points. Many lighting decorations include a loop on their cable for hanging from hooks, and this clip is compatible with allowing the second cable to hang from the clip by the loop.
