  • Patent number: 11886582
Abstract: A method for assessing a cybersecurity risk of a software object includes generating an abstract syntax tree (AST) for a software object, and determining that the AST is insufficient to identify, to a specified confidence level, a cybersecurity risk of the software object. In response to determining that the AST is insufficient to identify the cybersecurity risk of the software object, a graph convolutional neural network (gCNN) is executed, based on the AST, to produce a set of features for the AST and to produce a probability of maliciousness of the software object based on the set of features. A signal representing an alert is sent, based on the probability of maliciousness, if the probability of maliciousness exceeds a pre-defined threshold.

  • Patent number: 11886929
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for deploying cloud-native services across a plurality of cloud-computing platforms. For example, systems disclosed herein identify resource identifiers associated with cloud-computing services (e.g., types of services) to be deployed on one or more resources capable of executing or otherwise providing cloud-native services. The systems disclosed herein further generate resource bindings including deployment specifications that include data for deploying cloud-native services on corresponding platform resources (e.g., cloud resources, edge resources). Using the resource bindings, the systems disclosed herein can deploy cloud-native services across multiple platforms via control planes configured to manage operation of resources on the different platforms.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques and amplifier stages that include wave division multiplexers, semiconductor optical amplifiers and wave division demultiplexers that amplify optical signals. An input optical signal having a first bandwidth is partitioned into a plurality of subband optical signals by thin film filters tuned to a selected bandwidth that is less than the first bandwidth. Each of the plurality of subband optical signals has a bandwidth that is a portion of the first bandwidth. Each subband optical signal is input into a semiconductor optical amplifier that is tuned to the respective portion of the first bandwidth that corresponds to the subband optical signal. The combination of the partitioned input optical signal and tuned semiconductor optical amplifiers provides improved optical signal transmission performance by reducing polarization dependent gain.

  • Publication number: 20240031008
Abstract: Space-based systems, methods, and apparatus transmit data between terrestrial nodes using route creation and data transmission protocols that establish radio routes that transmit data over long distances between large numbers of terrestrial nodes via one or more satellites and/or other types of non-terrestrial aerial nodes. One approach uses satellites in stochastic orbits, in which some of the satellites receive and transmit signals simultaneously in different frequency bands to more readily create optimum radio routes for data transmissions between terrestrial nodes. Other approaches use route creation and data transmission protocols that increase the number of terrestrial nodes supported by the system. Still another approach uses a multi-level system in which drones and/or balloons service local areas while longer distance data transmissions are supported by one or more layers of satellites in cohorts in uncontrolled orbits at different altitudes.

  • Publication number: 20240025294
Abstract: An electrified vehicle includes a human-machine interface to enable towed vehicle mode and specify a desired traction battery charge upon arrival at a destination. A controller is programmed to vary charging rate of the traction battery while the electrified vehicle is being towed over a user-specified distance to the destination to obtain the user-specified target charge for the traction battery upon reaching the destination. The target charge may be entered as a percentage state of charge (SOC), a distance to empty (DTE), or Watt hours, and converted to net energy input required for the traction battery. The controller distributes the charging load over the entire distance to reduce the affect on the drivability and efficiency of the towing vehicle by varying regenerative braking of the electric machine(s) while being towed to provide a net energy needed to obtain the target charge upon reaching the destination.

  • Publication number: 20240031329
Abstract: Systems and methods for simplifying the assignment and management of IP addresses are provided. In examples, a DHCP relay agent system receives an IP address request or similar discover message from a client computing device and forwards the request to one or more DHCP servers. In addition to forwarding the request, the DHCP relay agent system may be configured to append and forward information related to the DHCP negotiation process to a DHCP server. For example, the indication of operations may include executable instructions, such as opcodes, that facilitate the offer of an IP address lease. Parameters necessary for executing the operations, such as operands, may also be appended. In examples, the DHCP server may effectively operate as a processor, virtual processor, or virtual machine in the lease negotiation process, where IP address assignment or management decisions are pre-defined by the configuration information of the DHCP relay agent system.
