Abstract: The current document is directed to methods and systems that employ call traces collected by one or more call-trace services to generate call-trace-classification rules to facilitate root-cause analysis of distributed-application operational problems and failures. In a described implementation, a set of automatically labeled call traces is partitioned by the generated call-trace-classification rules. Call-trace-classification-rule generation is constrained to produce relatively simple rules with greater-than-threshold confidences and coverages. The call-trace-classification rules may point to particular services and service failures, which provides useful information to distributed-application and distributed-computer-system managers and administrators attempting to diagnose operational problems and failures that arise during execution of distributed applications within distributed computer systems.
Abstract: A side opening intermodal shipping container has a fixed base, end walls, back wall and part of a roof. A movable entire side wall is connected to a movable partial roof. The movable partial roof is hinged to the fixed roof part. Hydraulic cylinders rotate the movable side wall and roof part, opening an entire side and a portion of the top within a limited clearance space. A large object may be loaded into the container and removed from the container indoors.
Abstract: Aspects discussed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods to identify points of interest of viewers of a content item concurrently being transmitted in a linear stream to the viewers. A point of interest may refer to a segment of the content item that caused a surge in user reactions. During a subsequent transmission of the content item, identified points of interests may be displayed to the viewer. The viewer may select the point of interest in the content item to begin playback of the point of interest in the content item.

Abstract: A blender blade having four tapered arms extending from a central body. Each arm includes a front cutting edge, a back edge, and a tipped end which exhibits a small, sharpened cutting edge at a slight angle from the front cutting edge. One of the arms is planar to the body, one arm includes a most preferred slight bend of about 6.0°, and the final two arms have a most preferred bend of about 16.7°.
Abstract: A panel assembly for a suspended ceiling system, an adjustable corner bracket thereof, and a method of assembling such a panel assembly. The panel assembly may include a ceiling panel having a groove in its rear surface, a plurality of suspension bars disposed within the groove along the sides thereof, and a plurality of corner brackets disposed within the groove along the corners thereof. The corner brackets may include a first arm portion extending along a first arm axis and a second arm portion extending along a second arm axis. The corner brackets may be adjustable to alter an angle measured between the first and second arm axes so that the corner brackets may be used in different grooves having different shapes.
Abstract: The described features of the present disclosure generally relate to one or more improved systems for analyzing the electronic information associated with driving activities (e.g., driver log information) obtained from the one or more mobile computing platforms (ELDs) associated with one or more vehicles to identify a likelihood of a driver resigning or deserting his or her position. Accordingly, features of the present disclosure may identify “at-risk” drivers for the fleet operators to trigger remedial measures to prevent such adverse event (e.g., driver quitting).
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable user-level activity recordation using population level activity data by receiving operator data including a record of activities performed by users on an operator system. Each entry in the record of activities is parsed to form structured activity entries representing each activity executed on the operator system. Each entry in the record of activities is matched to an individual account in an account database based on an individual identifier of each entry and an account individual identifier identifying the individual account. A statistical metric representing the activity history of the individual account is produced based on each entry matched to the individual account, and an activity history dashboard is displayed on an operator computing device to depicts the statistical metric for the individual account.
Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle includes identifying a user identity associated with a user riding in the vehicle, determining a destination associated with the user identity, creating a detection zone proximate to the vehicle when the vehicle is localized in a first drop-off location associated with the destination, causing a sensory system to identify a hazard within the detection zone and generate a localization of the hazard, determining that a first probability of realizing a risk associated with the hazard is less than a first probability threshold, and generating a vehicle door actuation that permits the user to exit the vehicle based on the first probability of realizing the risk.

Abstract: A device, method or executable instructions that include receiving, over a network, an authentication request from a user device for performing a function utilizing a first authentication method, obtaining network intelligence data for a mobile network over the network, and identifying a risk for each of multiple authentication methods in response to analyzing device security behavior and the network intelligence data. Further embodiments include identifying a first risk for the first authentication method and identifying a second risk for the function, determining the first risk is higher than the second risk, and identifying a second authentication method that is associated with the second risk. Additional embodiments include notifying the user device of the second risk for the function, and providing a recommendation to the user device to utilize the second authentication method to perform the function. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A system and corresponding method exchange a nonfungible token (NFT) via blockchain cross-chain fungible token transfers. The system comprises first and second blockchains. The first blockchain holds the NFT in a first escrow digital wallet. The NFT is available for trade by a seller and is associated with a trade value. The first blockchain monitors a balance of fungible tokens, owned by a buyer, that are transferred from a second blockchain to a second escrow digital wallet of the first blockchain. In response to detecting that the balance monitored represents the trade value, the first blockchain transfers, simultaneously, (i) the NFT from the first escrow digital wallet to a first digital wallet of the first blockchain, the first digital wallet owned by the buyer, and (ii) the balance of fungible tokens from the second escrow digital wallet to a second digital wallet of the second blockchain, the second digital wallet owned by the seller.
Abstract: An M2M Service Layer is expanded to access the services of third parties and exchange data with these third parties. The M2M Service Layer is then able to act as a proxy between M2M Devices and the third party services. The M2M Service Layer is able to present a single/consistent interface, or API, to the M2M Device and hide the details of the third party service provider from the M2M Device.

Abstract: An electronic device is configured with a notification throttling system. The notification throttling system obtains a set of priorities for multiple applications that are installed on the electronic device and are enabled for alerting the user via notifications. The set of priorities specifies a relative importance of each particular application among the multiple applications. The notification throttling system throttles application alerts presented by the user device for notifications generated by the applications based on the relative importance of each particular application as specified by the set of priorities.
Abstract: An improved circuit configuration is disclosed for calibrating and/or verifying the operation of phase shifters in a phased array radar system. In one illustrative embodiment, a method includes: (i) programming a set of phase shifters to convert a radio frequency signal into a set of channel signals; (ii) splitting off a monitor signal from each channel signal while coupling the set of channel signals to a set of antenna feeds; and (iii) while taking the monitor signals in pairs associated with adjacent channels, measuring a relative phase between each pair of monitor signals.

Abstract: A method of using an anti-ballistic protection system for protecting an interior space in a building. The ballistic barrier includes a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material such as woven sheets which are secured together into the laminate using a adhesive, heat weld, or stitching. The ballistic barrier in the deployed state is configured to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic projectiles such as a bullet fired from a gun or a shrapnel from a bomb to protect the interior space, and can be used to protect windows, doors, hallways, and walls from penetration by the ballistic projectiles.
