Abstract: First aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal configuration information of a serving cell can be transmitted. Second aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal configuration information of the serving cell can be transmitted. Downlink control information can be transmitted on a physical control channel in a subframe of the serving cell. The downlink control information can include an aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal indicator bit field that indicates a selection of one of at least the first aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal configuration, the second aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal configuration, and no aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal in the subframe.
Abstract: A system and method for the distributed analysis of high frequency transaction trace data to constantly categorize incoming transaction data, identify relevant transaction categories, create per-category statistical reference and current data and perform statistical tests to identify transaction categories showing overall statistically relevant performance anomalies. The relevant transaction category detection considers both the relative transaction frequency of categories compared to the overall transaction frequency and the temporal stability of a transaction category over an observation duration. The statistical data generated for the anomaly tests contains next to data describing the overall performance of transactions of a category also data describing the transaction execution context, like the number of concurrently executed transactions or transaction load during an observation period.
Abstract: A method of and wireless mobile information network for managing the application of a clean fire and smoke inhibiting slurry composition containing clean fire inhibiting chemicals, and cellulose or wood fiber, mixed with water and other additives, on surfaces including ground surfaces in advance of wild fire, to blanket grounds from wildfire ignition, and also application over smoldering ambers and ashes to prevent re-ignition while reducing (i) the use of significant amounts of water, (ii) the production of toxic run off water, and (iii) toxic smoke.
Abstract: A data storage system includes a storage medium and a storage controller configured to perform interface training operations. The interface training operations include loading a test data pattern into a first controller buffer of the storage controller, loading the test data pattern into a first storage medium buffer of the storage medium, setting a first read voltage or timing parameter at the storage controller, transferring the test data pattern from the first storage medium buffer to a second controller buffer of the storage controller using the first read voltage or timing parameter, comparing the test data pattern in the first controller buffer with the test data pattern in the second controller buffer, and determining a first read transfer error rate based on the first comparison.

Abstract: A medical imaging system, is formed of a lighting module, preferably using a single LED. The LED illuminates a reflection chamber, located to receive light from the LED, said reflection chamber terminating in a fiber interfacing surface. An optical fiber, connects to the fiber interfacing surface, and receives light therefrom when said LED is energized. The optical fiber has a first surface connected to the fiber interfacing surface, and has a second surface at an opposite end of the optical fiber from the first surface. A light guide, has a first end, optically coupled to the second end of said optical fiber, and the light guide directs light from the first end into a cone shaped surface at a second end, that directs light away from a center of the cone shaped surface into a hollow cylindrical shape of light, creating an illumination by the light at a distal end of the hollow cylindrical shape opposite the first end.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a robotic fabrication and assembly platform providing a plurality of printable materials for fabrication of a three-dimensional object are provided. A method includes activating a pneumatic actuator to extend a quick-change turret from a pneumatic seal. The method may insert a plurality of barrels into the quick-change turret. The method may also align one of the plurality of barrels with a pneumatic seal in the quick-change turret. The method may also disengage the pneumatic actuator to seat the aligned barrel onto the pneumatic seal and print a three-dimensional object. The method may further halt the printing of the three-dimensional object prior to completion and engage the pneumatic actuator to extend the quick-change turret from the pneumatic seal.
Abstract: A vapor-chamber that includes a porous microstructure sheet with varying surface energy across different regions to optimize utilization of a working fluid. Modulating the surface energy of the porous microstructure sheet can minimize the amount of the working fluid that becomes trapped in the condenser region(s) and maximize an aggregate thin-film evaporation area of the working fluid in the evaporator region(s). The condenser region of the vapor-chamber is treated so that the internal surfaces have low surface energy. For example, the treatment may cause the condenser region to become hydrophobic to minimize the amount of fluid that becomes trapped in the condenser. The evaporator region is treated so that the internal surfaces have high surface energy. For example, the treatment may cause the evaporator region to become hydrophilic to induce the formation of large numbers of robust (e.g., dry-out resistant) thin-film evaporation sites.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a source image and its associated parameters from each of multiple image sources, associating each of the source images with a layer in a range of layers based on the parameters associated with the source images, the range of layers specifying a composition layering order of the source images, generating a corresponding customized distortion mesh for each particular source image in the source images based on the parameters associated with the particular source image and at least a portion of the parameters associated with each of the source images that is associated with any layer preceding a layer associated with the particular source image, modifying each of the source images using the corresponding customized distortion mesh, generating a composite image using the modified source images, and displaying the composite image as a frame in a video.

Abstract: A sealing device for use as a vascular implant including a frame, the frame having an inflow edge and an outflow edge relative to axial blood flow within a vessel, wherein at least a partial axial extent of the frame is configured to decrease in axial length when expanded from a radially compressed configuration to a radially expanded configuration. Abstract: Disclosed herein are new compositions comprising (1) an antibacterial component comprising (a) a complex comprising (i) an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) wherein the active pharmaceutical ingredient is tobramycin, a similar compound, or a derivative of either thereof and (ii) a complexing agent, or (b) a derivative of tobramycin or a similar compound comprising one or more conjugates/derivatizing groups, wherein the complexing agent or conjugate(s) cause a detectable increase in API permeation of corneal cells, retention in corneal cells, or both, as compared to the non-complexed or non-derivatized API, and (2) an effective amount of an anti-inflammatory agent, such as dexamethasone or another dexamethasone compound. This disclosure also describes new methods of using such compositions, producing such compositions, and the like.
