Abstract: Antibodies that include a sulfatase motif-containing tag in a constant region of an immunoglobulin (Ig) light chain polypeptide are disclosed. The sulfatase motif can be converted by a formylglycine-generating enzyme (FGE) to produce a formylglycine (fGly)-modified Ig light chain polypeptide. An fGly-modified Ig light chain polypeptide of the antibody can be covalently and site-specifically bound to a moiety of interest to provide an antibody conjugate. The disclosure also encompasses methods of production of such tagged Ig light chain polypeptides, fGly-modified Ig light chain polypeptides, and antibody conjugates, as well as methods of use of same.

Abstract: A vertical pipe deployment system that includes a flexible pipe deployed vertically in a non-linear manner. A first clamp couples to and supports the flexible pipe. A second clamp couples to the flexible pipe. The second clamp laterally changes a direction of the flexible pipe as the flexible pipe descends vertically between the first clamp and the second clamp.

Abstract: A lighting fixture appears as a skylight and is referred to as a skylight fixture. The skylight fixture has a sky-resembling assembly and a plurality of sun-resembling assemblies. The sky-resembling assembly has a sky-resembling optical assembly and a sky-specific light source, wherein light from the sky-specific light source exits a planar interior surface of the sky-resembling light optical assembly as skylight light. The plurality of sun-resembling assemblies are arranged adjacent one another and extend downward from a periphery of the sky-resembling assembly. Each of the plurality of sun-resembling assemblies has a sun-resembling optical assembly and a sun-specific light source, wherein light from the sun-specific light source exits a planar interior surface of the sun-resembling optical assembly as sunlight light.

Abstract: In some examples, a computer system may receive video from one or more video sources. The computer system may detect a plurality of faces in a first video portion of the received video. Further, the computer system may determine that a first face of the plurality of faces has features indicative of an emotion of interest. Based on determining that the first face has the features indicative of the emotion of interest, the computer system may redact other faces of the plurality of faces while leaving the first face unredacted in the first video portion. The computer system may send the first video portion with the first face unredacted and the other faces redacted to at least one computing device.

Abstract: A media party network service manages a set of media parties and a set of users of the media party service. Managing the media parties can involve instantiating new media parties according to input from the users, allowing the users to join the media parties, and tracking which users are participating in which media parties. Managing a given one of the media parties may include maintaining a queue of media items, allowing users in the media party to provide input to add media items to the queue and to provide input to skip media items in the queue. The media party service streams the given one of the media parties to client devices of the users currently in the given media party such that all of the client devices are currently displaying substantially a same part of a media item in the corresponding queue.

Abstract: A device configured to or programmed to instantiate an isolated sub-fabric is presented. A network configuration device uses a virtual air gap policy to instantiate a sub-fabric from a fabric of networking nodes. The sub-fabric is configured with an internal routing policy that respects the nature of the defined isolation. Further, the fabric is provisioned with a virtual air gap that ensures the external networking nodes respect the isolation of the sub fabric.

Abstract: A fixed, detachable dental attachment device has a cap for securing a dental appliance, a ring, and an abutment to attachment to a tooth root or implant. Also described herein are methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the dental attachment device. Further described herein is a dental attachment device for immediate load on a provisional denture and then incorporated into the final restoration.

Abstract: A wearable visualization device configured to provide a user with an augmented reality, a virtual reality, and/or a mixed reality experience includes a housing and a lens portion extending from the housing. The wearable visualization device includes a first display screen and a second display screen coupled to the housing and configured to project light onto the lens portion, where the lens portion is configured to reflect at least a portion of the light into eyes of the user. The wearable visualization device includes a camera positioned between the first display screen and the second display screen and configured to acquire image data of the lens portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for refilling fluid containers. A fluid container may include a bottle and a valve assembly. The valve assembly may include two valves and be configured to engage with the bottle and a filling head or dispensing head. A system is configured to provide pressurized fluid to the refillable container, monitor filling, determine when to stop filling, and determine how much fluid was provided. The valve assembly may include a float mechanism coupled to one of the valves of the valve assembly to ensure fluid flow is stopped when the fluid container is full. The fluid, which can include carbon dioxide, is stored in a storage tank. A flow system provides the fluid to a filling head, which engages with the fluid container. The flow system includes a transfer pump, valves, and sensors configured to provide the fluid to the filling head.

Abstract: A wireless system for determining the displacement of spinning components of a differential assembly, including a differential case having a hollow interior space; a differential assembly having an actuator including an electromagnet having a coil, a spinning component selectively engaged with a differential gear arrangement and at least one sensor assembly non-rotatably mounted to the differential case including at least one sensor communicatively coupled to a printed circuit board, a transmitter and a power source. The sensor assembly extends axially and radially within the differential case and at least one sensor is configured to directly sense the axial displacement of the spinning component and the sensor assembly is configured generate a signal representing the axial displacement of the spinning component into a signal that is wirelessly transmitted to a receiver positioned outside the differential case.

Abstract: Methods, reactor tubes, reactors, and systems for catalysis are disclosed. A reactor tube includes an outer shell defining a catalyst bed, a catalyst within the catalyst bed, and an inner tube extending through the catalyst bed. An interior of the inner tube is isolated from the catalyst within the catalyst bed. Methods of activating a catalyst are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A load control device may control the amount of power provided to an electrical load utilizing a phase control signal that operates in a reverse phase control mode, a center phase control mode, and a forward phase control mode. A load control device may be configured to determine that the electrical load should be operated via a phase control signal operating in a forward phase-control mode. After determining to operate the electrical load via the phase control signal in the forward phase-control mode, the load control device may provide the phase control signal in a reverse phase-control mode for a predetermined period of time to the electrical load, for example, to charge a bus capacitor of the electrical load. Subsequently, the load control device may be configured to switch the phase control signal to the forward phase-control mode and provide the phase control signal in the forward phase-control mode to the electrical load.

Abstract: This disclosure details exemplary home energy storage systems capable of storing electricity locally for later consumption, such as for charging an electrified vehicle, supporting various home energy needs, and supporting alternative energy storage/power source functionality. An exemplary home energy storage system may include a stationary unit, one or more modular units removably connectable to the stationary unit, and a rack mounting and handcart transportation system configured to mount, detach, and transport the modular unit relative to the stationary unit. Once undocked from the stationary unit, the modular unit(s) may be utilized as a portable power source for powering one or more electrical loads. This disclosure further describes various interconnected functionalities (e.g., electrical and wireless communication of state of uses) between the stationary unit and the modular unit of home energy storage systems and between the modular unit and various satellite equipment associated with the modular unit.

Abstract: A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.

The dustpan is configured to be securely coupled to the handle. The dustpan has a lid and a base and can alternate between an open position and a self-sealing closed position. In the closed position the base and lid define an interior volume having a height along a y-axis, a width along an x-axis, and a depth along a z-axis. An adhesive strip is coupled to a lip of the dustpan and is configured to interact with a surface and temporarily engage the dustpan with the surface. The absorbent powder is a mixture of a super absorbent polymer and perlite.
