Abstract: Package to printed circuit board (PCB) transitions are described. In one aspect, a multi-layer PCB includes an external layer having a transition region configured to receive an electrical component and a clear routing region outside of the transition region. The PCB includes first via(s) that extend from the transition region to an inner trace routing layer. The trace routing layer is disposed between the external layer and the second inner trace routing layer. The first inner trace routing layer includes a transition area disposed under the transition region of the external layer, a clear routing area outside of the transition region, and a transmission line that connects a given first via to a second via for a second electrical component. The transmission line includes conductive trace(s) that each have a first width in the transition area and a second width, greater than the first width, in the clear routing area.

Abstract: A fuel bunkering apparatus shapes fluid flow in a flow shaping line preferably shaped to have a plurality of loops. Shaping the two-phase flow drives the heavier, denser fluids to the outside wall of the flow shaping line and allows the lighter, less dense fluids such as gas to occupy the inner wall of the flow shaping line. With the gas positioned on the inner wall, an exit port on the inner wall permits a majority, if not all, of the gas, along with a minimal amount of liquid, to be diverted to a conventional gas-liquid separator at a flow rate much lower than the total flow rate within the flow shaping line. The remaining liquid flow in the flow shaping line is subsequently introduced into an adjustable phase splitter to separate different liquid components from one another.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides apparatuses and methods for measurement of the biocapacitance of tissue. The apparatus comprises a sensor comprising two electrodes, a movable element coupled to the sensor, and a switch disposed between the movable element and a fixed element, wherein the switch electrically closes when a gap between the movable element and the fixed element is less than or equal to a pre-determined value. The device makes a measurement of the biocapacitance between the two electrodes when the switch closes.

Abstract: There is provided a sound-insulation material for a vehicle that can reduce the weight thereof and exhibit sufficient sound insulation performance against noise of 500 Hz to 6400 Hz generated in vehicles. The sound-insulation material for a vehicle, of the present invention, includes: a core layer having tubular cells, the tubular cells being arranged in a plurality of rows; an airflow-blocking resin film layer provided on one surface of the core layer; and a decoupling layer provided on the airflow-blocking resin film layer; and an average (P/v)/Za is 2.8 to 10 between 500 and 6400 Hz, where: P and v are respectively a sound pressure and a particle velocity on a surface of the airflow-blocking resin film layer provided on the core layer, the surface being opposite to the core layer; and Za is an acoustic impedance of the decoupling layer.

Abstract: Deep neural network accelerators (DNNs) with independent datapaths for simultaneous processing of different classes of operations and related methods are described. An example DNN accelerator includes an instruction dispatcher for receiving chains of instructions having both instructions for performing a first class of operations and a second class of operations corresponding to a neural network model. The DNN accelerator further includes a first datapath and a second datapath, where each is configured to execute at least one instruction chain locally before outputting any results. The instruction dispatcher is configured to forward instructions for performing the first class of operations to the first datapath and forward instructions for performing the second class of operations to the second datapath to overlap in time a performance of at least a subset of the first class of operations with a performance of at least a subset of the second class of operations.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are stabilized powder and aqueous formulations comprising a phospholipid comprising omega fatty acid and a micelle-forming surfactant. In one embodiment, the formulation further comprises a water soluble reducing agent, and/or a metal chelator, and/or a metal bisulfite reducing agent, or combinations thereof, wherein the formulation remains substantially clear and stable when stored at or below room temperature for a period of at least 6 months or at least 12 months; and methods for preparing these formulations.

Abstract: Particular embodiments provide a variable, BitDepth, that may be set at a value based on a number of bits used to represent pixels in pictures of a video. The variable may be used in syntax elements in HEVC, such as the HEVC range extension, but other coding standards may be used. By using the variable, different resolutions for the video may be accommodated during the encoding and decoding process. For example, the number of pixels in the pictures may be represented by 8 bits, 10 bits, 12 bits, or another number of bits depending on the resolution. Using the BitDepth variable in the syntax provides flexibility in the motion estimation and motion compensation process. For example, syntax elements used in the weighted prediction process may take into account different numbers of bits used to represent the pictures.

Abstract: Compositions comprising extracellular matrix (ECM) materials and methods of use thereof are disclosed. The compositions may comprise two or more ECM materials derived from different types of tissues, such as, e.g., lung tissue and spleen tissue, formulated for administration to a patient or configured as a medical device for implantation in or application to the patient. The compositions may combine complementary properties of different types of ECM materials for customized patient-specific and/or site-specific tissue repair and/or regeneration.

A value of a temporal sublayer identifier of a video coding layer (VCL) network abstraction layer (NAL) unit in the coded video sequence is constrained to be less than or equal to a value of vps_max_sublayers_minus1, that specifies a maximum number of temporal sublayers that may be present in a layer in each coded video sequence referring to the video parameter set (VPS), in the VPS referred to by the VCL NAL unit.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus including processing circuitry for video decoding. The processing circuitry is configured to decode coding information for a current block of a current picture. The coding information can indicate a coding mode for the current block being one of: an intra block copy (IBC) mode and a string copy mode. The processing circuitry is configured to determine current vector information for a current unit of samples in the current block based on the coding mode for the current block and a history buffer. The history buffer can be configured to store vector information of at least a block previously decoded in the IBC mode and a string previously decoded in the string copy mode. The processing circuitry is configured to reconstruct the current unit of samples based on the current vector information.
