Abstract: An apparatus is provided that is configured to be used with a container having contents to permit mixing of the contents of the container. The apparatus includes a main body having a geometrical shape having an open end, a closed end, and a longitudinally extending bore or opening extending from the open end to the closed end. The opening or bore is configured to receive at least a portion of a container. A shaft is generally orthogonally positioned from a portion of the closed end. The shaft is configured to be received by a rotational device. The mixing apparatus can be used to mix various sized containers containing contents having one or more materials to be mixed. The container is not attached to any portion of the main body and the container is configured to rotate freely and independently of the main body during an operation of the rotational device.

Abstract: Some implementations of this application are directed to a server system including one or more CPUs, a plurality of GPUs, main dynamic memory storing programs and data for use by the CPUs and/or GPUs during program execution, a static memory pool stored in a non-volatile memory, and a memory controller configured to manage the static memory pool. Each of the GPUs includes a local cache and is configured to access the static memory pool via the memory controller. The server system executes a plurality of gaming sessions for a gaming title in parallel on the one or more CPUs. Each of the plurality of gaming sessions is associated with a static data item stored in the static memory pool, and requires a graphics operation executable by a respective GPU using the static data item.

Abstract: A first computing device receives a service access request to access a service provided by another computing device, the request including user authentication characteristics of a user. The first computing device forwards the service access request to the other computing device. The first computing device receives a user interface configuration file from the other computing device, that, when executed by the second computing device, enables the second computing device to display a user interface that provides access to the service. The first computing device modifies the user interface configuration file based on the user authentication characteristics to provide selective access to the service. The first computing device transmits the modified user interface configuration file to the second computing device, that, when executed by the second computing device, enables the second computing device to display a modified user interface that provides selective access to the service.

Abstract: A system and method for managing a population of devices and in particular, software updates and version control of applications across the population includes permitting a first device to receive an update from a publisher and generating an update manifest that is propagated to other devices in the population. Applications within a population of devices are selectively disabled and enabled to prevent multiple update versions of the same application across the population.

Abstract: A system and method for administering an insurance policy in general accounts and in separate accounts including a modified stable value protected investment including an improved surrender payment protocol. The system and method includes tracking the value of investments and an MSVP value in a life insurance contract after a termination of life insurance coverage has occurred. When the system determines that the value of the MSVP equals a predetermined value (e.g., zero) or that a maturity date for the policy or stable value protected investment has occurred, the system causes an amount equal to the value of the MSVP division to be paid to the contractholder. Upon such payment, the MSVP product provider shall have no further liability under the MSVP. The contractholder may have an option to elect at any time to receive a payment amount equal to the value of the underlying assets of the stable value protected investment. In such event, the MSVP product provider shall have no further liability under the MSVP.

The multipoint lock includes a first latch, a second latch, a first hub rotatable with at least one of a thumb-turn knob or a key, and a second hub rotatable with a handle lever. Upward rotation of the handle lever causes both rotation of the first hub and rotation of the second hub in the same rotational direction.

Abstract: Methods and systems for citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) interference management using dual subscriber identification module (SIM) devices are described. The method includes assigning a physical cell identity (PCI) to each CBRS device (CBSD) granted unlicensed spectrum by a spectrum access system (SAS). Each spectrum granted CBSD may exchange PCIs with neighbor spectrum granted CBSDs to resolve PCIs and maintains a PCI table. A dual SIM device may be connected to a CBSD via a first SIM. Each spectrum granted CBSD having a connected dual SIM device reports a number of PCIs detected by the dual SIM device(s). A SAS designated dual SIM device may use a second SIM to measure power values of PCIs detected by the designated dual SIM device which are absent from a provided PCI table. The measured power values may be used by the SAS to make cluster interference decisions.

Abstract: A manually actuated, self-inflating bag valve mask provides users with a positive pressure ventilation device that reliably provides a proper tidal volume to the patient and controls the rate of ventilation of the patient. The bag valve mask is lightweight, compact, durable, and quickly deployable in the field. The device is preferably operable with one hand and can be configured for use in low-light environments.

Abstract: A three-dimensional memory device includes alternating stacks of insulating layers and electrically conductive layers located over a substrate, a first memory array region and a second memory array region that are laterally spaced apart along the first horizontal direction by an inter-array region therebetween, and memory stack structures extending through the alternating stacks in the first or second memory array region. Each of the alternating stacks includes a respective terrace region in which layers of a respective alternating stack have variable lateral extents within an area of the inter-array region, and a respective array interconnection region laterally offset from the respective terrace region and which continuously extends from the first memory array region to the second memory array region. Each of the alternating stacks has a width modulation along a second horizontal direction that is perpendicular to the first horizontal direction within the area of the inter-array region.

Abstract: A system for analyzing images includes a processing device including a receiving module configured to receive an image associated with a target domain, and a domain adaptation module configured to characterize one or more features represented in the received image based on a domain adaptation model. The domain adaptation model is generated using a machine learning algorithm to train the domain adaptation model, and the machine learning algorithm is configured to train the domain adaptation model based on one or more source domain images associated with a source domain, one or more previously acquired images associated with the target domain, and acquired characterization data associated with the target domain. The system also includes an output module configured to output the received image with characterization data identifying one or more features characterized by the domain adaptation module.

Abstract: The disclosed technology teaches streamlining use of Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) 130 framework for delivery of addressable advertising, via a campaign management delegate system that carries out a method that includes receiving an ad management service placement request from a broadcast cable provider for ad insertion into a program and conducting real time bidding for ad insertion during the program. The disclosed method also includes accepting new content provided by a successful bidder, after receiving the placement request and automatically formatting the new content, and uploading the new content to the broadcast cable provider in time for playback with content that prompted the placement request. The method includes responding to the placement request with a placement response that includes a VMAP as reference to the new content. New content can also be uploaded to a CIS managed by the cable provider or provided on behalf of the provider.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for making and using proliposomal and liposomal formulations of chemotherapeutic agents are disclosed. The proliposomal and liposomal formulations of chemotherapeutics, as well as medicaments and dosage forms that include such formulations, can be used with treatment regimens for bladder cancer and urothelial cancer. Hence, the formulations, medicaments, and dosage forms of the invention are suitable to treat bladder cancers by intravesical administration and to treat urothelial cancers. The formulations according to the invention include (a) a taxane (e.g., paclitaxel, docetaxel) or cisplatin, (b) a first phospholipid, dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine (DMPC), and (c) a second phospholipid, dimyrsityl phosphatidyl glycerol sodium (DMPG). The proliposomal formulations form liposomes upon contact with an aqueous vehicle.
