Abstract: Disclosed is a phase shifter arrangement for an antenna, such as a cellular antenna, that has a simplified drive mechanism. The phase shifter arrangement has two phase shifters, each with two wiper arms that are coupled at one end to a single drive shaft. Each of the wiper arms have a pivot access that may be located at or near its center such that as the drive shaft translates, it mechanically engages both wiper arms, causing them to rotate around their respective pivot axes. Certain antenna arrangements have several array faces. For example, the antenna may have three array faces, each spaced at 120 degrees of azimuth. The drive shafts for each of these array faces may operate independently to function as a multisector antenna, or they may be driven in unison to function as an omnidirectional antenna.
Abstract: A water-soluble film, comprising a first water-soluble film, wherein the first water soluble film disintegrates in water within less than about 24 hours and dissolves in water within less than about 48 hours as measured by the MSTM-205 at 20° C. The disclosure provides a water-soluble film comprising a first water-soluble film that disintegrates in water within less than 24 hours and dissolves in water within less than 48 hours as measured by MSTM-205 at 20° C. The first water-soluble film optionally may be further characterized in that it does not disintegrate in water for at least about 1 hour and does not dissolve in water for at least about 1 hour as measured by MSTM-205 at 20° C. The disclosure further provides a water-soluble film comprising a first water-soluble film characterized in that the degradation and/or dissolution of the first water-soluble film is adapted to be activated by consumer handling.

The primary cavity and the secondary cavity each traverse normal and into the bracing surface from the first base to the second base.
Abstract: Introduced here are diagnostic platforms able to verify subjects included in images in a time- and resource-efficient manner. By assessing the degree of consistency between multiple characterizations of an attribute that are derived from different data, a diagnostic platform can determine the likelihood that an image includes a given subject. An attribute could be characterized based on metadata that accompanies an image captured during a diagnostic session, information provided by an individual as part of the diagnostic session, an output produced by a classification model upon being applied to the image, or any combination thereof.
Abstract: A system and method for decentralizing data and determining performance of different entities in multiple geographical and categorical markets whereby the system may determine complimentary entities to a user's entities or other existing entities for presentation to the user of overlapping procurements and demographics to gather a deeper understanding into the same results yielded by their competition whereby users will be able to provide more personal experiences for each consumer, as well as achieve pricing discovery, greater brand awareness, and marketing strategy.
Abstract: A battery apparatus according to various aspects of the present invention may operate in conjunction with a power source, such as a battery. The battery apparatus may include a protection IC, a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The power source may be selectively coupled to the battery apparatus at the second and third terminals. The power source may be capable of providing a current through the battery apparatus via one of a first current loop and a second current loop.
Abstract: A strapping apparatus for strapping articles with a strapping band having a tensioning device for imparting a band tension to a loop of the strapping band, the tensioning device including a driveable tensioning element provided for engaging the strapping band to impart a band tension. The strapping apparatus including a connecting device for generating a permanent connection, in particular a welded connection, at two regions, situated one above the other, of the loop of the strapping band. The strapping apparatus is configured to achieve the release of the tensioning element from the strapping band reliably to avoid or reduce adverse characteristics attributed to the release of the tensioning device from the band.

Abstract: Generating panoramic video viewable at a third-party video management system includes receiving image data captured by at least one camera. The received image data may be captured at a plurality of angles (e.g., stop positions) arranged about a single axis (e.g., about which the camera rotates). The received image data may optionally be analyzed. Based on the received image data (and any optional analysis thereof), panoramic video derived from the captured image data (e.g., still images) may then be generated. A single video stream including the generated panoramic video may then be generated. The single generated video stream may then be sent to a third-party video management system (VMS). The video stream may be usable by the video management system for displaying the generated panoramic video. Various other views or other information may also be included in the single video stream sent to the VMS.

Abstract: A processing device maintains a data structure for a set of process flows executing on one or more processing cores of a storage system. The data structure comprises entries identifying particular execution instances of one or more persistence point functions, each modifying persistent state, with the execution instances having been designated as tested in conjunction with testing of one or more process flows of the set of process flows. The processing device detects an execution instance of a persistence point function of a given one of the process flows, determines whether or not the detected execution instance of the persistence point function has a corresponding entry in the data structure, and responsive to the detected execution instance of the persistence point function not having a corresponding entry in the data structure, initiates a test of the given process flow that includes the detected execution instance of the persistence point function.
