    Abstract: Provided are a memory device for implementing a multi-level memory and a method of implementing a multi-level memory by using the memory device. The memory device includes first and second electrodes apart from each other, a self-selecting memory layer between the first and second electrodes having an ovonic threshold switching characteristic, including a chalcogenide-based material, and configured to have a threshold voltage varying depending on a polarity of and strength of a voltage applied thereto, and a resistive memory layer between the second electrode and the self-selecting memory layer and having a resistance characteristic varying depending on a voltage applied thereto. The memory device is configured to implement multi-level resistance states by changing at least one of a pulse polarity, a number of pulses, pulse height, and a pulse width of a voltage applied between the first and second electrodes.

    Abstract: An integrated system provides real-time speech-to-text captioning. The system includes an eyewear component comprising an eyewear frame, one or more microphones, a sensor, a display system, a wireless transceiver, and a processor. The eyewear component captures audio using the microphones and detects when the wearer is speaking using the sensor. The processor receives audio from the microphones, determines if the audio is from the wearer speaking, and transmits non-wearer audio to an eyewear case component for speech-to-text conversion. The eyewear component receives the speech-to-text conversion from the eyewear case component and displays it in the wearer's field of view using the display system. The eyewear case component includes a case housing, a wireless transceiver, at least one microphone, and a processor. The eyewear case component receives audio from the microphone, performs speech-to-text conversion on the received audio data, and transmits the text data to the eyewear component.

    Abstract: Template nucleic acid fragments are generated in cells or nuclei using transposase-nucleic acid complexes. Partitions are formed, each comprising a single cell or nuclei, the corresponding plurality of template nucleic acid fragments and nucleic acid barcodes comprising a corresponding common barcode sequence unique to a respective cell or nuclei. Barcoded nucleic acid fragments are generated in each partition using the barcodes and the template fragments. The barcoded fragments in each partition collectively form a pool of barcoded nucleic acid fragments. A set of alleles for each locus in a plurality of loci are identified and, for each such locus, a subset of the pool of barcoded fragments mapping to the locus are aligned to determine an allelic identity of such fragments from among the set of alleles for the locus, thereby determining a corresponding allelic distribution at each respective locus.
