  • Publication number: 20130067951
Abstract: A waste heat utilization device for an air compressor includes: a discharge path of an oil free air compressor; a circulation path along which a low boiling point medium circulates; an evaporator provided on the circulation path to heat and evaporate the low boiling point medium using the potential heat of the compressed air; and a preheater provided on an upstream side of the evaporator to preheat the low boiling point medium using the potential heat of the compressed air. A scroll type expansion machine is rotated by the low boiling point medium evaporated by the evaporator and increased in pressure, and power is generated by a power generator connected to a rotary shaft of the scroll type expansion machine. The low boiling point medium discharged from the scroll type expansion machine is then cooled and condensed by a condenser.

  • Publication number: 20120288393
Abstract: To realize an increase in lifespan and a reduction in cost in an interlocking mechanism that causes a driving scroll and a driven scroll to rotate synchronously, a through hole is drilled into a peripheral edge portion of a driving scroll side end plate, and a pin member is fixed to the through hole. A base is provided on a driven scroll side spiral projection that faces the through hole. A columnar recessed portion is carved into an opposing surface of the base, and an aluminum rotary body is loosely fitted into the recessed portion. An eccentric hole is drilled into the rotary body, and the pin member is loosely fitted into the eccentric hole. The interlocking mechanism is disposed in an odd number at equal intervals on an outer edge portion of the scroll end plate such that loads exerted on the rotary body act in an identical plane.

  • Patent number: 8287250
Abstract: A multistage vacuum pump unit can save a power requirement and prevent the gas discharged outside of the unit from flowing-back inside the pump unit. A plurality of vacuum pumps are connected in series to form the multistage vacuum pump unit. A suction inlet of a first stage vacuum pump thereof is connected to a to-be-vacuumized container so that the space inside of the container becomes under a high vacuum condition. In an operating method, part of the gas discharged into a first intermediate passage from the first stage vacuum pump is branched during a low vacuum operation, and discharged toward an air atmosphere through a low conductance line provided with check valves that prevent the branched gas from flowing back.

  • Publication number: 20120257961
Abstract: A multistage vacuum pump has a pair of rotors disposed in each of pump chambers connected in stages. As the rotors rotate while intermeshing, a suctioned gas is compressed and discharged, angles of the rotors are adjusted so that a phase angle ?? of the rotors of adjacent pump chambers relative to a rotation angle C of the rotors during a single cycle of the pump chambers from intake to discharge and the number of stages S of the rotors satisfies ???C/S. When a rotor angle is ?1, an mth stage rotor angle is ?m, and an nth stage rotor angle is ?n in order from an upstream side of a gas flow direction, relationships of ?1??m??n and ?1<?n, where n and m are natural numbers and n>m, are satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20110300012
Abstract: The rotating shaft is connected to the generator; the high-pressure steam s is introduced to the expansion chamber b through the guide passage; when the energy of the high-pressure steam s during expansion process revolves the revolving scroll, the generator regenerates electric power. The connecting housing is provided with the inlet opening and the outlet opening; the ventilation blades are fitted to the rotating shaft. When the ventilation blades rotate, the outside air is introduced (inside of the housing) from and through the inlet opening; the air passes by the air opening and the backside of the revolving scroll, and is discharged through the outlet opening. Thus, by the approach that the air passage is formed inside of the connecting housing and the scroll housing, the high-pressure steam s is prevented from being directed toward the backside of the revolving scroll.

  • Publication number: 20110129361
Abstract: A compressor capacity control method and a device is provided. The changeover from a loading state regarding the compressor to an unloading state regarding the compressor and vice versa is controlled, whereby, during a time span from a starting time point when the compressor operation state changes into an unloading state to a time point when a loading/unloading operation-cycle is finished and a predetermined time duration has passed after the starting time point, the time cycle control is performed so that the loading state is changed into the unloading state, at a time point when the predetermined time duration has passed. Further, the discharge pressure of the fluid discharged from the compressor is detected so that the loading state is changed into the unloading state in a case where the discharge pressure exceeds a prescribed upper limit pressure.

  • Patent number: 7871254
Abstract: A follower shaft is rotatably supported coaxially with a driving shaft. An inner rotary permanent magnet having poles in a radial direction is fixed around an outer circumference of the end of the follower shaft. On the inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical coupling, an outer rotary permanent magnet is fixed such that opposite poles face each other between the inner rotary permanent magnet and the outer rotary permanent magnet. A fixed permanent magnet is fixed such that like poles face each other between the fixed permanent magnet and the inner rotary permanent magnet. Thus, rotation of the driving shaft is transmitted to the follower shaft without contact.
