  • Publication number: 20060233656
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine has a fixed scroll in a housing and an orbiting scroll rotatably mounted to a driving shaft. A fixed wrap of the fixed scroll is engaged with an orbiting wrap of the orbiting scroll. The orbiting scroll is revolved at a certain eccentricity by the driving shaft, so that a gas sucked through the circumference of the housing is compressed as it moves toward the center, and discharged through the center. A gas-guiding bore is formed near the center of the orbiting scroll, and a heat-releasing rod is inserted in the bore. One end of the heat-releasing rod is projected from the fixed scroll to release heat to atmosphere.

  • Publication number: 20060222547
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine comprises a housing, a driving shaft, a fixed scroll fixed to the housing, and an orbiting scroll. A gas introduced from the outer circumference of the housing is compressed towards the center of the housing with revolution of the orbiting scroll by the driving shaft. The compressed gas is discharged through a discharge hole extending from the center outward in a radial direction. A silencer fits in the discharge hole to prevent noise caused by discharge of the gas.

  • Publication number: 20060198746
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine comprises a stationary scroll fixed to a housing and an orbiting scroll that turns with a driving shaft. The stationary scroll comprises a stationary end plate having inner and outer stationary wraps and the orbiting scroll comprises an orbiting end plate having inner and outer orbiting wraps. Rotation of the orbiting scroll allows the inner and outer stationary wraps to engage with the inner and outer orbiting wraps respectively to form inner and outer volume-variable chambers. The two chambers have substantially the same compression ratio, so that substantially-equal low pressure gases are produced.

  • Patent number: 7014434
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine comprises fixed and orbiting scrolls. The fixed scroll has a fixed end plate having inner and outer fixed wraps and the orbiting scroll has an orbiting end plate having inner and outer wraps. Between the fixed and orbiting end plates, an annular partition wall is provided. The orbiting scroll is driven by an eccentric portion of a driving shat to form an inner compressing chamber in which the inner fixed wrap is engaged with the inner orbiting inside the annular partition wall and to form an outer compressing chamber in which the outer fixed wrap is engaged with the outer orbiting wrap between the annular partition wall and a housing. The inner compressing chamber communicates with a rear pressure chamber behind the orbiting end plate thereby preventing the orbiting end plate from being deformed or distorted.

  • Publication number: 20060054382
Abstract: In an acoustic resonator, an actuator allows a piston to reciprocate axially at very small amplitude at high speed. Owing to pressure fluctuation in the acoustic resonator involved by reciprocal motion of the piston, fluid is sucked into and discharged from the acoustic resonator via a valve device at the top end of the acoustic resonator. The acoustic resonator is covered with a gas guide with a space. The valve device is cooled by a fan at the top end of the gas guide.

  • Publication number: 20060011411
Abstract: An acoustic compressor has an acoustic resonator and a piston reciprocated by an actuator at a base of the acoustic resonator. A valve device is provided on the upper end of the acoustic resonator. The valve device comprises a suction chamber and a discharger chamber. External air is fed through an inlet to the suction chamber and sucked into the acoustic resonator through the suction bore. Then, the air in the resonator is compressed by the reciprocating piston. The discharge chamber has a discharge bore and an outlet to the outside. An outward nonreturn valve is larger in valve-opening resistance than an inward nonreturn valve in the suction bore. When the air pressure in the resonator exceeds a certain value, the high-pressure air is transferred to the discharge chamber through the discharge bore by allowing the outward nonreturn valve to open and then discharged through the outlet to the outside.
