  • Publication number: 20240297759
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing Synchronization Single Block (SSB) transmission using a number of SSB beams. An embodiment operates by determining a SSB index for a SSB based on a candidate position in a set of candidate positions and the number of SSB beams. The embodiment determines a shift value for the SSB index based on the candidate position and the number of SSB beams. The embodiment determines a frame timing for the SSB based the SSB index and the shift value for the SSB index. The embodiment then transmits, by radio front end circuitry, the SSB to a user equipment (UE) based on the frame timing for the SSB.

  • Publication number: 20240297758
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for utilizing a hybrid of ultra-wideband (UWB) and narrowband (NB) signaling to provide more efficient operating range and operating efficiency. For example, a first device may schedule transmission of a packet via a narrowband signal to a second device. The first device may then transmit the packet, whereby the packet conveys synchronization data that is used by the second device to schedule reception of a plurality of fragments, respectively, via an ultra-wideband (UWB) signal. The first device may then schedule and transmit the plurality of segments to the second device via the ultra-wideband signals, each fragment being time-spaced from other fragments of the plurality of fragments by at least a predefined time interval.

  • Patent number: 12082116
Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for uplink panel selection with power saving. In some embodiments, user equipment (UE) may experience a positional change. In response, the UE may deactivate a first communication panel to save power and activate a second communication panel. The UE may then transmit a status message to a communication node indicating the activation and/or deactivation. The node may then register this activation and/or deactivation. In some embodiments, the node may monitor uplink slots from the first and second communication panel to identify the activation and deactivation. For example, if the node detects an absence of an uplink signal within a slot threshold, the node may identify the panel as being deactivated. The node may establishing communications with another panel based on a detected signal and/or the status message.

  • Patent number: 12081892
Abstract: Embodiments relate to detecting a timeout error on receipt of valid pixel data from an image sensor by a sensor interface circuit. When the valid pixel data is not timely received at the sensor interface circuit, a timeout error signal is generated by the sensor interface circuit. A time limit for determining the timeout error signal may be defined by a global clock that provides a clock signal to the sensor interface circuit and other circuits. As a result, the sensor interface circuit generates a dummy frame and sends out the dummy frame to subsequent circuits so that the timeout error does not bottleneck subsequent processing stages. In contrast, if the valid pixel data is timely received, sensor data received from the image sensor is unpacked into a frame of pixels.
