  • Patent number: 12034657
Abstract: The implementations disclosed provide apparatus, systems, and methods for downlink control information (DCI) enhancement for a reduced-complexity new radio (NR) wireless device. The wireless device includes one or more processors configured to transmit a type of the wireless device to a base station communicatively coupled to the wireless device. A format of the DCI is received from the base station. The DCI includes multiple bit strings indicating a schedule of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The format specifies a respective number of bits for each bit string. The format is defined by the base station based on the type of the wireless device. The DCI is received from the base station using a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The multiple bit strings are extracted from the DCI based on the format of the DCI.

  • Patent number: 12033075
Abstract: This application relates to use of transformer neural networks to generate dynamic parameters for use in convolutional neural networks. In various embodiments, received image data is encoded and the encoded signal is sent to both a decoder and a transformer neural network. The decoder outputs a decoded data for input into a convolutional neural network. The transformer outputs a set of dynamic parameter values for input into the convolutional neural network. The convolutional neural network may use the decoded data and the set of dynamic parameter values to output instance image data show identifying a number of objects in an image. In various embodiments, the decoded data is also used to generate semantic data. The semantic data may be combined with the instance data to form panoptic image data.

  • Patent number: 12035466
Abstract: Printed circuit boards (PCB) used to mechanically and electrically connect electrical components within an electronic device. Thin printed circuit boards (PCB) may be desirable to manufacturers and users of electronic devices. Accordingly, a process for manufacturing a printed circuit board may involve manufacturing a thin bilayer dielectric. The process may involve applying a first non-conductive layer to a metal substrate, and curing the first non-conductive layer to a C-stage resin layer that is fully cross-linked layer in a clean environment. In turn, a B-stage layer that is partially cured may be applied to the C-stage resin layer. Using a hot press, one or more metal traces may be pressed onto the B-stage layer. The B-stage resin layer may be fully cross-linked and integrated with the C-stage resin layer after lamination of the one or more metal traces and the B-stage resin layer.

  • Patent number: 12035367
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a UE and its serving base station in 5G NR systems to signal channel scan or channel sensing to allow channel occupancy time (COT) sharing before transmissions. The COT sharing may be initiated by the base station or by the UE by asserting a CCA indication to enable channel sensing by a UE or base station, respectively. When the UE receives and decodes the asserted CCA indication during downlink transmission, the UE may perform channel sensing during a short interframe space (SIFS) between the downlink transmission and a scheduled uplink transmission. When the UE detects that the sensed RF energy across an intended transmission band is greater than an energy detect threshold, the UE may refrain from transmitting during the scheduled uplink transmission. Otherwise or when the CCA indication is de-asserted, the UE may transmit during the scheduled uplink transmission without performing channel sensing.

  • Patent number: 12032378
Abstract: In an embodiment, an automation controller periodically generates stop trajectories and controls actuators to follow the stop trajectories. As long as new stop trajectories continue to be generated, the automation controller may follow a destination trajectory that is formed from the first portion of each stop trajectory. If stop trajectories are not generated for a period of time (e.g., due to failure in one or more computers generating the stop trajectories), the automation controller may continue to follow the most recent stop trajectory and bring the mobile machine to a stop.
