Abstract: A mobile phone may include a housing structure and a front cover assembly coupled to the housing structure and positioned over the battery. The front cover assembly may include a transparent cover defining at least a portion of a front exterior surface of the mobile phone and a display assembly coupled to the transparent cover and including a display element configured to produce graphical outputs visible through the transparent cover, a first conductive display cowling below a first region of the display element, and a second conductive display cowling below a second region of the display element and spaced apart from the first conductive display cowling, thereby forming a gap between the first conductive display cowling and the second conductive display cowling. The mobile phone may further include a battery positioned below the gap.

Abstract: A user equipment wireless communication device in a wireless communication environment receives a signal from the network that includes a radio network temporary ID. From the radio network temporary ID, the user equipment is capable of determining whether a phase tracking reference signal is present based on the radio network temporary ID. If any of these are identified by the radio network temporary ID, then the user equipment determines that a phase tracking reference signal is present. After the user equipment has determined that the phase tracking reference signal is present, the user equipment can then determine which phase tracking reference signal antenna ports are to be used based on the values of the transmitted precoding matrix indicator value and the transmit rank indicator.

Abstract: An electronic device such as a head mounted device may have an inner display that displays an image for a user through lenses. Head-mounted support structures may be used to support the display and lenses. One or more external displays may be publicly viewable while the head-mounted device is being worn. The head-mounted support structures may have a front face on which an external display is mounted. One or more finger sensors that are configured to detect touch input, force input, and/or other input from an external object such as a user's finger may be included in the head-mounted device. A finger sensor may have an elongated shape that runs along a peripheral edge of an external display on the front face. Finger sensors may also be located on other portions of the support structures.
Abstract: Video coders and decoders perform transform coding and decoding on blocks of video content according to an adaptively selected transform type. The transform types are organized into a hierarchy of transform sets where each transform set includes a respective number of transforms and each higher-level transform set includes the transforms of each lower-level transform set within the hierarchy. The video coders and video decoders may exchange signaling that establishes a transform set context from which a transform set that was selected for coding given block(s) may be identified. The video coders and video decoders may exchange signaling that establishes a transform decoding context from which a transform that was selected from the identified transform set to be used for decoding the transform unit. The block(s) may be coded and decoded by the selected transform.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that uses a video jitter buffer to buffer the video frames for a received video stream is described. The device uses the video jitter buffer to estimate the delay variability of the frames and pick a target delay that will help harmonize the playback with minimal loss and delay. This is achieved by estimating the delay spread, which is the result of performing statistical analysis of the measured lags of the video frames received. The video jitter buffer provides target delay recommendation and reference frame information to the video player in order to anchor the playback and schedule the frames presentation time.

Abstract: Sidelink pathloss between a remote user equipment device (UE) and a relay UE may be determined based at least on transmit power information provided by the relay UE to the remote UE. The remote UE may receive, via a sidelink discovery signal from the relay UE, a message that includes first information representative of a transmit power of the relay UE and/or second information representative of a measured receive signal power of a sidelink solicitation signal previously transmitted by the remote UE and received by the relay UE. The remote UE may determine a sidelink pathloss between the remote UE and the relay UE based at least on the first information and/or the second information. The remote UE may select/reselect a relay UE based on corresponding pathlosses determined for the respective paths between the remote UE and different respective relay UEs.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards techniques for adjusting a network connection of an accessory. In some examples, the computing device can determine that the accessory is not connected to a network (e.g., the same network to which the computing device is connected). The network may utilize a first connection type. Using a second type of connection, the computing device may determine an appropriate network for connection with the accessory. The computing device may then transmit instructions to the accessory, using the second type of connection, to adjust its network connection to be connected to the determined network. The determined network may use the first connection type.
