Abstract: Systems and processes for speech interpretation based on environmental context are provided. For example, a user gaze direction is detected, and a speech input is received from a first user of the electronic device. In accordance with a determination that the user gaze is directed at a digital assistant object, the speech input is processed by the digital assistant. In accordance with a determination that the user gaze is not directed at a digital assistant object, contextual information associated with the electronic device is obtained, wherein the contextual information includes speech from a second user. Determination is made whether the speech input is directed to a digital assistant of the electronic device. In accordance with a determination that the speech input is directed to a digital assistant of the electronic device, the speech input is processed by the digital assistant.

Abstract: A computer system displays, in display area outside of a system user interface region, a first user interface. In accordance with a determination that the system user interface region is displayed in a first display state, the computer system displays the system user interface region with a first visual edge treatment and displays a background of an interior portion of the system user interface region with a first appearance. In accordance with a determination that the system user interface region is displayed in a second display state distinct from the first display state, the computer system displays the system user interface region with a second visual edge treatment that is distinct from the first visual edge treatment and displays the background of the interior portion of the system user interface region with the first appearance.
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured to establish a multimedia data stream with a further UE, identify a predetermined condition, wherein the predetermined condition indicates a decrease in quality of the multimedia data stream at the further UE and implement a mechanism to mitigate the degradation of the decrease in quality of the multimedia data stream at the further UE.
Abstract: Reporting potential impacts of sounding reference signal-switching (SRS-switching) to a base station may include determining that SRS-switching is to be performed by a UE. Based on determining that SRS-switching is to be performed, potential impacts to one or more of a plurality of radio access technologies (RATs) caused by performing SRS-switching while sharing radio frequency (RF) front-ends (RFFE) between at least a subset of the plurality of RATS may be processed. The potential impacts may comprise at least one of transmit-blanking (Tx-blanking) and receive-blanking (Rx-blanking) associated with one or more of the subset of RATs. A communication that indicates the potential impacts of SRS-switching may be encoded for transmission to a base station. The base station may also provide priority configurations for determining how to handle Tx-blanking, Rx-blanking, and SRS-skipping associated with SRS-switching.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an electronic device navigates between user interfaces based at least on detecting a gaze of the user. In some embodiments, an electronic device enhances interactions with control elements of user interfaces. In some embodiments, an electronic device scrolls representations of categories and subcategories in a coordinated manner. In some embodiments, an electronic device navigates back from user interfaces having different levels of immersion in different ways.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to dynamically allocating and mapping private memory for requesting circuitry. Disclosed circuitry may receive a private address and translate the private address to a virtual address (which an MMU may then translate to physical address to actually access a storage element). In some embodiments, private memory allocation circuitry is configured to generate page table information and map private memory pages for requests if the page table information is not already setup. In various embodiments, this may advantageously allow dynamic private memory allocation, e.g., to efficiently allocate memory for graphics shaders with different types of workloads. Disclosed caching techniques for page table information may improve performance relative to traditional techniques. Further, disclosed embodiments may facilitate memory consolidation across a device such as a graphics processor.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for SRS collision handling. A wireless device may determine whether simultaneous transmission of at least two sounding reference signals (SRSs) is allowed; if it is determined that the simultaneous transmission of the at least two SRSs is allowed, transmit the at least two SRSs simultaneously; and if it is determined that the simultaneous transmission of the at least two SRSs is not allowed, transmit one SRS of the at least two SRSs, and drop the other SRS of the at least two SRSs.

Abstract: Techniques discussed herein facilitate configuration of network slices for a User Equipment (UE) supporting constraints on simultaneous operation of slices. Such a technique may comprise: receiving a registration request message to request registration on a set of requested network slices; registering the UE to a set of allowed network slices; and generating a registration accept message for transmission indicating the UE is registered to the set of allowed network slices, wherein the registration accept message indicates slice compatibility information for each allowed network slice of the set of allowed network slices for the UE, wherein the slice compatibility information for each allowed network slice indicates whether or not other configured network slices of a set of configured network slices are compatible with the configured network slice for simultaneous operation by the UE.
Abstract: An electronic device, which is in communication with a display and one or more input devices, displays a view of a three dimensional environment that includes a plurality of selectable user interface objects overlaid on an animated background. In response to detecting a request to change a viewpoint associated with a user of the electronic device, the electronic device shifts the plurality of selectable user interface objects in the three dimensional environment in accordance with the request, and also shifts the animated background in the three dimensional environment in accordance with the request.

Abstract: A camera module for a portable electronic device includes an actuator assembly with at least one coil segment. The coil segment includes a dielectric substrate with two surfaces. Over each surface is formed a trace that follows a path defining a multi-turn coil. The coils of each side of the dielectric are conductively coupled together to define a single inductor/coil. The two-layer coil segment can be encapsulated as a component suitable for pick-and-place and/or SMT manufacturing. In many constructions, the actuator assembly includes a stack of coil segments, coupled together in series or parallel.

Abstract: Embodiments include methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for measurement gap (MG) configuration in an E-UTRA (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access)-New radio dual connectivity (EN-DC) network, and other new radio (NR) related networks. Various embodiments describe how to configure a measurement gap (MG) based on various conditions in a network, which may include, but are not limited to, different MG types, operating frequencies and modes in the network, timing advancing, and how to determine a starting point of the configured MG to utilize the MG and perform certain measurements adequately.
Abstract: Providing coverage enhancements for a user equipment (UE) includes decoding a random access channel (RACH) preamble received from a user equipment (UE) via a physical random access channel (PRACH). A number of repetitions associated with transmitting a random access response (RAR) over a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) may be determined in response to the RACH preamble. A transmission for the UE to be sent over a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) may be encoded. The transmission may indicate the number of repetitions to the UE using one or more reserved bits of a downlink control information (DCI).

Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to a device including a pressure sensor to measure a pressure level in a port cavity. A port allows equalization of air pressure between the port cavity and an outside environment. A vent port within the port cavity allows equalization of air pressure between the port cavity and an internal volume of a housing of the device. A tool is used to activate a heat-generating component of the device while the port is obstructed for a predetermined time duration to enable detecting a sealing efficacy of the housing.
