Abstract: Described are processing time approaches to simultaneous multi-cell PUSCH/PDSCH scheduling with a single DCI (downlink control information) in a wireless communication system. In various approaches, simultaneously scheduling a plurality of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH) through a single DCI transmitted via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occurs, wherein each of the plurality of PDSCHs is associated with a respective cell in a plurality of cells. The approaches further include transmitting data to or receiving data to a user equipment (UE) based on the scheduling information, wherein the plurality of PDSCHs occurs no earlier than a time offset following the PDCCH.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for addressing bank hotspotting are described. A computing system includes a memory controller with an arbiter for determining how to arbitrate access to one or more memory device(s) for received requests. The arbiter categorizes each request in a manner that helps to ensure fair virtual channel distribution across the banks of the memory device(s). The category system includes bank hotspotting functions to give banks that have more requests more chances to go over banks with fewer requests. The category system is implemented proportionally with more category credits given to banks with higher bank depths within the virtual channel.

Abstract: Some aspects relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing mechanisms for intelligent power saving in a wireless communication system. For example, a user equipment (UE) is configured to determine whether a movement state associated with the UE satisfies one or more movement conditions. The UE can further determine operational information associated with the UE, in response to the determination that the movement state associated with the UE satisfies the one or more movement conditions. The operational information can include location information, power level information, or background process information. The UE can further cease, at least based on the operational information and one or more operational conditions being satisfied, a signal measurement associated with a neighbor cell.
Abstract: A compensation system includes a processor configured to determine compensated data for display on a sub-pixel of the display device. The processor may receive image data configured to be displayed on the sub-pixel, convert the gray level data to first voltage data; fetch, from a memory, compressed 1×1 sub-pixel uniformity compensation data for the sub-pixel, and decompress the compressed 1×1 sub-pixel uniformity compensation data via a decompressor. The decompressed data comprises the 1×1 sub-pixel uniformity compensation data for the sub-pixel. The processor may also determine a voltage compensation offset value associated with the sub-pixel based on the second voltage data, generate compensated voltage data based in part on the voltage compensation offset value and the first voltage data, convert the compensated voltage data to compensated gray level data; and transmit the compensated gray level data to pixel driving circuitry associated with the sub-pixel.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are wearable devices, their configurations, and methods of operation that use self-mixing interferometry signals of a self-mixing interferometry sensor to recognize user inputs. The user inputs may include voiced commands or silent gesture commands. The devices may be wearable on the user's head, with the self-mixing interferometry sensor configured to direct a beam of light toward a location on the user's head. Skin deformations or vibrations at the location may be caused by the user's speech or the user's silent gestures and recognized using the self-mixing interferometry signal. The self-mixing interferometry signals may be used for bioauthentication and/or audio conditioning of received sound or voice inputs to a microphone.

Abstract: Improved positioning resolution and latency may be achieved via physical layer signaling between a mobile device (UE) and a base station. The physical layer procedures may aid target UEs in enhancing their positioning accuracy and latency, and/or reducing network overhead while boosting UE power efficiency. Accordingly, a base station may receive, via physical layer signaling from a UE, a request for positioning-resources, for example in response to a determination that current positioning-resources of the UE need to be adjusted. The base station may responsively transmit, via physical layer signaling to the UE, an indication of adjusted positioning-resources, and may optionally transmit an indication of corresponding allocated grant-resources. The base station may receive, via physical layer signaling from the UE, positioning information resulting from positioning measurements performed by the UE according to the adjusted positioning-resources.

Abstract: A device in a wireless power system may be operable with a removable accessory such as a case. The device may transmit or receive wireless power through the case while the electronic device is coupled to the case. The case may have a folio shape with a front cover portion that covers the display of the electronic device. The case may have an embedded ferrimagnetic core that relays magnetic flux during wireless power transfer operations. Magnetic alignment structures in the case may position the ferrimagnetic core in the case in a high magnetic flux density region between the power transmitting device and the power receiving device. The ferrimagnetic core relays the magnetic flux between a transmitting coil in the power transmitting device and a receiving coil in the power receiving device. The ferrimagnetic core may be formed in a front portion, a sidewall, or a rear wall of a case.

Abstract: To prevent an undesired operating mode of voltage-controlled oscillation (VCO) circuitry from dominating a desired operating mode (e.g., an in-phase operating mode or an out-of-phase operating mode), a supply reset and ramp pulse may be provided to the VCO circuitry when switching to a new mode, such that supply voltage to the VCO circuitry is reset (e.g., set to 0 V or another reference voltage), and gradually increased or ramped up back to a steady-state voltage (e.g., used to maintain a mode) within a time duration. Additionally or alternatively, a switch control bootstrap pulse may be provided to the VCO circuitry that is bootstrapped to (e.g., applied instantaneously or concurrently with) switching the VCO circuitry to the new mode. After a time duration, the VCO circuitry may switch back to a steady-state voltage (e.g., used to maintain the new mode).
