  • Patent number: 11914646
Abstract: In accordance with some implementations, a method is performed at an electronic device including one or more processors, a non-transitory memory, a positional sensor, a rendering system, and a display. The method includes while displaying, on the display, first textual content according to an initial viewing angle, determining an expected viewing angle based on the initial viewing angle and positional data from the positional sensor. The positional data indicates a positional change of the electronic device. The initial viewing angle is different from the expected viewing angle. The method includes, in accordance with a determination that the expected viewing angle satisfies a render criterion, generating, via the rendering system, second textual content based on the expected viewing angle. The method includes displaying, on the display, the second textual content according to the expected viewing angle.

  • Patent number: 11914983
Abstract: Aspects and features include using a virtual disk image to improve computational performance when applying a software patch. Compressed extents within a stored disk image are detected. The compressed extents are virtually reordered to form compressed forks within a virtual disk image and the compressed forks are selected for decompression based on code to be patched. A decompressed fork with the patch is virtually written to the same or another virtual disk image as an updated fork, and the virtual disk image is used to write to storage, either to overwrite the same stored disk image or to produce an updated, compressed disk image. In some examples, the virtual disk image is validated prior to writing to the compressed image by comparing an output hash from the compressed disk image with a known hash to validate the virtual disk image.

  • Patent number: 11917642
Abstract: The disclosure describes mechanisms for reliability enhancement on control channel and data channel and mechanisms in URLLC. An apparatus of a RAN node for URLLC includes baseband circuitry to configure at least one DCI for scheduling transmission of at least one PDSCH content having same information. For each DCI, the baseband circuitry determines a CORESET for transmitting the DCI. The disclosure further describes mechanisms for the support of low latency transmission in URLLC. To improve peak data rate and spectrum efficiency in FDD system, the RAN node configures a DCI for scheduling data transmission using blank resources of a self-contained slot structure. Further, CBG-based transmission with separate HARQ-ACK feedback is provided to configure a DCI for scheduling data transmission of a TB and to divide the TB into multiple CBGs, and to configure uplink control data to carry separate HARQ feedback for the CBGs.

  • Publication number: 20240061617
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for addressing bank hotspotting are described. A computing system includes a memory controller with an arbiter for determining how to arbitrate access to one or more memory device(s) for received requests. The arbiter categorizes each request in a manner that helps to ensure fair virtual channel distribution across the banks of the memory device(s). The category system includes bank hotspotting functions to give banks that have more requests more chances to go over banks with fewer requests. The category system is implemented proportionally with more category credits given to banks with higher bank depths within the virtual channel.

  • Patent number: 11910350
Abstract: Improved positioning resolution and latency may be achieved via physical layer signaling between a mobile device (UE) and a base station. The physical layer procedures may aid target UEs in enhancing their positioning accuracy and latency, and/or reducing network overhead while boosting UE power efficiency. Accordingly, a base station may receive, via physical layer signaling from a UE, a request for positioning-resources, for example in response to a determination that current positioning-resources of the UE need to be adjusted. The base station may responsively transmit, via physical layer signaling to the UE, an indication of adjusted positioning-resources, and may optionally transmit an indication of corresponding allocated grant-resources. The base station may receive, via physical layer signaling from the UE, positioning information resulting from positioning measurements performed by the UE according to the adjusted positioning-resources.
