  • Patent number: 11630670
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to signature-based instruction prefetching. In some embodiments, processor pipeline circuitry executes a computer program that includes control transfer instructions, such that the execution follows a taken path through the computer program. First signature prefetch table circuitry indicates prefetch addresses for signatures generated using a first signature generation technique and second signature prefetch table circuitry indicates prefetch addresses for signatures generated using a second, different signature generation technique. Signature prefetch circuitry, in response to a prefetch training event, determines a first signature according to the first technique and a second signature according to the second technique and selects one but not both of the first and second signature prefetch tables to train using the first signature or the second signature.

  • Patent number: 11630789
Abstract: An interrupt delivery mechanism for a system includes and interrupt controller and a plurality of cluster interrupt controllers coupled to respective pluralities of processors in an embodiment. The interrupt controller may serially transmit an interrupt request to respective cluster interrupt controllers, which may acknowledge (Ack) or non-acknowledge (Nack) the interrupt based on attempting to deliver the interrupt to processors to which the cluster interrupt controller is coupled. In a soft iteration, the cluster interrupt controller may attempt to deliver the interrupt to processors that are powered on, without attempting to power on processors that are powered off. If the soft iteration does not result in an Ack response from one of the plurality of cluster interrupt controllers, a hard iteration may be performed in which the powered-off processors may be powered on.

  • Patent number: 11632600
Abstract: While displaying playback of a first portion of a video in a video playback region, a device receives a request to add a first annotation to the video playback. In response to receiving the request, the device pauses playback of the video at a first position in the video and displays a still image that corresponds to the first, paused position of the video. While displaying the still image, the device receives the first annotation on a first portion of a physical environment captured in the still image. After receiving the first annotation, the device displays, in the video playback region, a second portion of the video that corresponds to a second position in the video, where the first portion of the physical environment is captured in the second portion of the video and the first annotation is displayed in the second portion of the video.

  • Patent number: 11632224
Abstract: Systems and method are described for improving electrical isolation between a transmission signal and receiver circuitry of a transceiver communicating over one or more wireless networks via one or more shared antennas. The transceiver may include isolation circuitry to facilitate isolation of the transmission signal from the receiver circuitry. However, a leakage current of the transmission signal and noise signals may appear at the receiver circuitry. Presence of the leakage current or the noise signals in the receiver circuitry may cause interference with the reception signal. As such, the isolation circuitry may benefit from additional isolation between the transmission signal and the receiver circuitry to reduce an effect of the leakage current and the noise signals on the reception signal.

  • Patent number: 11631393
Abstract: Ray tracing is performed with sound sources and a listener position in a listening environment, to generate impulse responses associated with each of the sound sources. The impulse responses are combined to form a combined impulse response. One or more filters are determined, each corresponding to the sound sources, based on the combined impulse response and the impulse responses. Each filter serves as a correction factor that holds unique acoustic information for the sound source that the filter is associated with. The combined impulse response and the filters can be applied to one or more audio signals that contain the sound sources, resulting in audio having reverberation that is tailored to the various sound sources. Other aspects are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 11630903
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system is provided in which the private key is managed in hardware and is not visible to software. The system may provide hardware support for public key generation, digital signature generation, encryption/decryption, and large random prime number generation without revealing the private key to software. The private key may thus be more secure than software-based versions. In an embodiment, the private key and the hardware that has access to the private key may be integrated onto the same semiconductor substrate as an integrated circuit (e.g. a system on a chip (SOC)). The private key may not be available outside of the integrated circuit, and thus a nefarious third party faces high hurdles in attempting to obtain the private key.
