Abstract: A mode of operation is provided for user equipment (UE) communicating in unlicensed carrier (e.g., NR-unlicensed). The UE is configured to operate in one or more modes of operation, including FBE and LBE. The UE can be configured to operate in FBE, where the equipment has a fixed frame period according to CCA, or in LBE, where the equipment determines whether the channel is idle or not and transmits only when the channel is clear. The UE is configured to operate in a mode of operation to be used in the communicating with a communication network (e.g., a cellular network), where the UE can transmit and/or receive one or more listen before talk (LBT) messages with the communication network through a Radio Access Network (RAN) based on the mode of operation.

Abstract: A wireless communication device is disclosed for setting transmission slot priorities in a broadcast environment. Upon receipt of a broadcast signal from the wireless communication environment, the UE analyzes the received signal to determine time slots in which members of its own group are transmitting. The UE then sets priorities of previously-used time slots to be low for allocation purposes. When the UE needs to transmit a signal, it first performs allocation of time slots within the signal frame. This allocation is performed based on the earlier-set priorities such that time slots identified as being used by other group members will not be used unless necessary.
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein can enable multi-TRP transmission for PDCCH to achieve diversity gain for the potential benefits to URLLC use cases with challenging reliability/robustness requirements. Specifically, multi-TRP transmission for PDCCH can be performed at different levels as follows: 1. PDCCH with multi-TRP transmission on repetition level; 2. PDCCH with multi-TRP transmission on CCE level; and/or 3. PDCCH with multi-TRP transmission on REGB level.
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to Random Access Channel (RACH) optimization and Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR) use cases and requirements for 5G networks. For example, embodiments disclosed herein automatically configure RACH parameters and neighbor relations for 5G networks that can generate biggest saving in resource utilization for mobile operators. The RACH optimization disclosed herein can automatically configure the RACH parameters in a cell to achieve the optimal RACH performance by reducing the network access and handoff time, and minimize the failures. The Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR) management disclosed herein can automatically create and update the neighbor relations that can generate biggest saving in resource utilization for mobile operators.
Abstract: Resource allocation is provided for an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, such as a distributed unit (DU) of an IAB. Methods and systems for allocating resources include allocating a first cell-specific pattern of downlink-flexible-uplink (DL-F-UL) availability for one or more slots, allocating a second cell-specific pattern of DL-F-UL availability for the one or more slots. The IAB DU can signal one or more of the first and second cell-specific patterns to an other IAB DU. At least one of the first cell-specific pattern and the second cell-specific pattern defines a slot format different from a DL-F-UL format. Slot format configuration (e.g., semi-static or dynamic SFI) are provided to support space division multiplexing/spatial multiplexing (SDM).
Abstract: In some embodiments, a device includes a light-emitting display, and an optical emitter positioned behind the light-emitting display. The optical emitter is configured to emit light through the light-emitting display. A processor is configured to synchronize a first illumination timing of the optical emitter and a second illumination timing of the light-emitting display. In some embodiments, a device includes an optical transceiver processor and a display processor. The display processor is configured to output timing information to a light-emitting display and to the optical transceiver processor, and the optical transceiver processor is configured to cause an optical transceiver to emit or receive light in synchronization with the timing information output by the display processor.

Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with an ambient light sensor, a display that displays image content, and control circuitry. The control circuitry may adjust a peak allowable brightness of the display based on an ambient light brightness and based on the image content being displayed. For example, the control circuitry may analyze frames of display data to determine an average pixel luminance level. Low average pixel luminance levels correspond to mostly dark image content, whereas high average pixel luminance levels correspond to mostly light image content. When an electronic device is outdoors and displaying mostly dark images with low average pixel luminance levels, the control circuitry may take advantage of the display's maximum achievable brightness to improve readability. When an electronic device is outdoors and displaying mostly light images with high average pixel luminance levels, the control circuitry may scale the maximum allowable brightness down to reduce power consumption.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining a video based on images detected with cameras mounted on a vehicle and displaying a portion of the video corresponding to a time offset and a viewing angle.
Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content user interface. A media content provider includes storage for storing and serving video content to subscribers. The media content provider records and or otherwise stores video content from around the world. Subscribers are provided a user interface to the system that includes a side bar. The user interface provides context sensitive hints to assist the viewer. The system also tracks a viewer's viewing history in a manner that allows the viewer to review and directly access any part of that history. Finally, magnetic points are created for use during video scrubbing to intelligently select relocation points for the current playback position.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a memory and at least one processor in communication with the memory. The at least one processor is to detect, during a discovery window, a neighboring client station that is to perform peer-to-peer Wi-Fi communication via a Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN) protocol and establish, via a negotiation after the discovery window, a datapath with the neighboring client station, wherein the negotiation includes an exchange of NAN data path setup attributes in parallel with an exchange of encryption cipher attributes and the encryption cipher is based on a simultaneous authentication of equals (SAE) protocol. The SAE protocol can be used to generate key material to encrypt the datapath.

Abstract: A power converter circuit included in a computer system includes a switched-capacitor circuit as well as one or more bypass devices, and generates a particular voltage on a regulated power supply node. In response to situations that can result in a rapid transient of the voltage level on the regulated power supply node (e.g., upscaling or downscaling), the power converter circuit may activate the bypass devices to source or sink current from the regulated power supply node. By employing both the switched-capacitor circuit and the bypass devices, the power converter may be able to more rapidly adjust the voltage level of the regulated output supply node, as well as maintain voltage across the devices and capacitors included in the switched-capacitor circuit within specified tolerances.
