  • Patent number: 12212947
Abstract: In a method for reproducing sound of a data object, a voice signal of a data object is split into a first sub-band signal and a second sub-band signal, and speaker driver signals are generated to produce sound of the object by a two-way speaker system in which the first sub-band signal drives a tweeter or high frequency driver and the second sub-band signal drives a woofer or low frequency driver. In another aspect, the first and second sub-band signals are spatialized as virtual sources that are in different locations. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 12213041
Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE), manufacturer server, and/or cellular network to perform radio capability signaling. A new type of UE radio capability identifier is provided which may allow a network to distinguish between similar UEs that have or have not implemented a capability update. In order to perform a forced capability update, a manufacturer may issue information about the update to a cellular network (and receive acknowledgement of the information) prior to pushing the update to UEs. In response to an unforced capability update, a cellular network may maintain multiple UE radio capability identifiers for similar UEs which have or have not implemented the update. A UE radio capability identifier may be adjusted dynamically in response to temporary changes in the UE's capability.

Abstract: A neural processor includes neural engines for performing convolution operations on input data corresponding to one or more tasks to generate output data. The neural processor circuit also includes a data processor circuit that is coupled to one or more neural engine. The data processor circuit receives the output data from the neural engine and generates a branching command from the output data. The neural processor circuit further includes a task manager that is coupled to the data processor circuit. The task manager receives the branching command from the data processor circuit. The task manager enqueues one of two or more segment branches according to the received branching command. The two or more segment branches are subsequent to a pre-branch task segment that includes the pre-branch task. The task manager transmits a task from the selected one of the segment branches to data processor circuit to perform the task.

  • Patent number: 12213116
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may operate on a dormant bandwidth part (BWP) and a non-dormant BWP of a carrier. The UE identifies a dormant bandwidth part (BWP) and a non-dormant BWP of a carrier corresponding to a primary secondary cell (PSCell) of a secondary cell group (SCG) for dual connectivity (DC), receives an indication that an active BWP is to be switched from the non-dormant BWP to the dormant BWP and performs an action corresponding to the dormant BWP.

  • Patent number: 12213031
Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for supporting switching between point to point and point to multipoint delivery with service continuity for broadcast and multicast services in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station and a wireless device may establish a wireless link. The cellular base station may provide information configuring an over the air delivery type with which to receive a broadcast or multicast service, which may be received by the wireless device. The cellular base station may transmit the service using the configured delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service. The cellular base station may provide information configuring the wireless device to switch to a different over the air delivery type, with service continuity. The cellular base station may then transmit the service using that delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service.

  • Patent number: 12211152
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that enable a device to provide a view of virtual elements and a physical environment where the presentation of the virtual elements is based on positioning relative to the physical environment. In one example, a device is configured to detect a change in positioning of a virtual element, for example, when a virtual element is added, moved, or the physical environment around the virtual element is changed. The location of the virtual element in the physical environment is used to detect an attribute of the physical environment upon which the presentation of the virtual element depends. Thus, the device is further configured to detect an attribute (e.g., surface, table, mid-air, etc.) of the physical environment based on the placement of the virtual element and present the virtual element based on the detected attribute.

  • Patent number: 12212555
Abstract: Aspects of subject technology provide systems and methods for generation and distribution of a stable identifier associated with multiple aliases of a user account. The stable identifier may be provided to various electronic devices by a server, responsive to requests associated with communications to those devices from one of the associated aliases. In this way, messaging applications can utilize the stable identifier to merge conversations from a single user having multiple aliases, and secure access to a secure device can be provided to an authorized user, even if the authorized user attempts access from an unauthorized account alias.

  • Patent number: 12211506
Abstract: In an embodiment, an integrated circuit may include one or more CPUs, a memory controller, and a circuit configured to remain powered on when the rest of the SOC is powered down. The circuit may be configured to receive audio samples from a microphone, and match those audio samples against a predetermined pattern to detect a possible command from a user of the device that includes the SOC. In response to detecting the predetermined pattern, the circuit may cause the memory controller to power up so that audio samples may be stored in the memory to which the memory controller is coupled. The circuit may also cause the CPUs to be powered on and initialized, and the operating system (OS) may boot. During the time that the CPUs are initializing and the OS is booting, the circuit and the memory may be capturing the audio samples.
